It is how they do things yes. A certain congressman from Ohio was holding hearing recently about this very topic and protecting young girls. I dont know that I'd trust him to do that because he didnt protect young men placed in his care and tried to cover up their abuse, but Im sure that was in the past and he will protect those girls all the way up until the 2nd Tuesday after the first Monday in November. That is if he can remember to he has a lot of people talking to him about influence peddling and laptops from hell.

That sums it up perfectly. Power is all that matters. To hell with the people who voted him in.

My children have asked me why I dont swear and dont like others doing it. I tell them that it is a low form of communication and I know they're smarter than that. I do cuss usually at work just to get it out of my system. I do get a chuckle every time I watch the Martian and Matt Damon finishes jugging the grape juice and says F u Mars. I dont know why its just funny.

A lot of people didn't like him before he came to the Steelers including me, but last year I came around he was a good teammate. He will lose some fans if he keeps going on about politics and all, I guess he doesn't care since this is his last year.

Farewell tour? Last rodeo? Then disappearing?

It is odd that he says he doesn't care about what others think other than his "inner circle" but then finds the need to defend himself.
Fortunately I'm not in his position and never will be so I don't know how I would feel about the scrutiny by the public.

Because she won an award and the spotlight was on her so of course she had to be taken down a peg.

I said it to Jeh the other day. I have zero doubt about his ability to play football but he continues to seem like an Ahole to me just because he can.

In hindsight Rodgers should have signed with Steelers after being released from Packers, instead of Jets. We could have avoided the whole Fields and Wilson mediocrity... and Rodgers would have 3 years with Steelers under his belt.

Since he is a Steeler I've learned way more then I wanted to about his life. It has done nothing to change my opinion. I've hated the guy since I saw an interview way back when he was young. Don't really follow the NFC closely but every time he didn't reach the SB, I loved it. Then the mofo has the balls to get his only SB against us, (that one was painful for weeks) my hate increased ten fold. And now we have the HC who beat us.

I'll be pulling hard for a guy I despise. Should a miracle happen I'd still dislike him but one hell of a whole lot less.

That was the only team I was afraid of us facing in the SB because of him. Would have rather gotten Ryan or Brees before Rodgers.

Mike Florio likes to insert his political and social beliefs; being dogmatic in some cases. Other Journalists do this as well. I am continually bemused though on how some fans believe athletes should say things we want them to. This brings me to a quote from not long ago; by Shannon Sharpe of all people no less.

We want our athletes to be open and honest with us until they are open and honest. Once they become open and honest, it is a problem.

For his many short sighted takes, this one is correct. If players are not permitted to speak their mind, how are they going to voice their opinions?! Feels like it is never ending.

Long story short?! Aaron can say whatever he wants and should be able to; as any person should. Freedom of Speech doesn't mean Freedom from Consequences but it does equate to Freedom for Discussion. Mike Florio, or any other journalist, should not berate and/or attempt to limit what Aaron says via their own platforms along with social pressure.

Me too. A lot of people say they've never come across anyone as modest as me. I might be the most modest person ever. I don't know.

Marriages continue on a downward trend, so fewer men have to talk as much after work and fewer women have husbands to talk at.

why should he care, it's his opinion. It affects nobody else in their daily life. Everyone doesn't agree with everything people say, so it shouldn't be that big of deal if people think for themselves.

Free Speech is a funny thing. Funny in that it applies to EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN CITIZEN, EVEN THOSE WE DISAGREE WITH!

Aaron Rodgers was crucified in the media over his vaccine stance. After the recent information about Fauci came out Rodgers felt vindicated. I can't say I blame him for taking a victory lap.

Two of Aaron Rodgers ex-girlfriends decided to expose personal aspects of their relationship with him. I see no issue with him offering a rebuttal. None of us know what is true and what is false. Something tells me the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. The beauty of it is, who really cares?

Everyone has a right to have and state their opinion. But if you're going to do that, be prepared for others to disagree, and offer an opinion you may not agree with. Those that can't handle that should simply keep their opinions to themselves.

Just read about a study conducted by a university that had a scary but predictable result. Participants were asked to write 20 minute essays each week for three weeks. Before writing they were broken into three groups; group 1- allowed to use AI to assist in writing, group 2 - allowed to use google internet to assist, group 3 - no outside assistance to write.
At the end of the study they asked each group to remember at least one quote from their essays. Group 1 couldn't remember anything, group 2 had mixed results, group 3 had most remembering something they wrote. They also asked participants if they recognized excerpts as their own or not. Group 1 didn't recognize any of their writing, group 3 had the most recognition.

    I fear for humanity.

People like to hate on Rogers for speaking his mind. I really couldn't care less.

He is on the way out so he's less worried about keeping the scripted NFL narrative
