Looks Like Myles Brought his Browns STANK to the poor Rams.

SB favorite got smoked.

 

Why wasn't he on the injury report? Where's the controversy, or is it only the Steelers that get in trouble for this stuff?

Myles Garrett called his performance in the Los Angeles Rams' 27-7 loss Friday to the San Francisco 49ers "the worst version of myself that I've put out there," saying his knee was not 100% healthy going into the game.

 

He looked winded. Tired. Out of sorts.


Thankfully for the Rams, it is only game one. Plenty of time remaining. Still though, not a great way to begin his time with the Rams.

He got dominated by an "old man" playing left tackle without help for much of the game. It was wonderful to see.

Trent Williams is amazing. Some cats are just different.

 

Excuses often come after the game. I don't buy it. The NFL should send him a letter and the Rams.

The cops should have put the cuffs on him after the game. Voters for the Hall of Fame are supposed to weigh more than sacks. Character is already in the conversation for other players. It should be here too.I don’t care how many years he dominates after the fact. That play should keep him out.

 

Certainly not a good showcase performance. He looked like his knee was botheirng him

 

I'm not saying that's why the Rams lost but that was dumb flying 15 hours to Australia the day before the game .

 

I obviously don't like the Browns. But they made a good decision here IMO.

Even if Garrett is still very good, he will get worse with time. And there's no way that the Browns would have had a good team while Garrett was still an elite to very good player.

 

Wait until opposing OL have to deal with Garrett and Donald.

 

I mentioned this on the game thread. I flew to Australia and was wiped out upon arrival. I checked into the hotel, went to my room and slept for 14 hours. The game was in Melbourne which is only 1,900 miles from Antarctica. When they say down under people don't realize how far down under Australia really is.

 

I think assuming that Donald is still going to be very good is dangerous. I think taking 2 years off after a 10 year career then coming back to the league when you're 34 doesn't sound like a recipe for being great.

I don't think he's going to be terrible. But he's not going to be a game changer IMO.

I wonder how many snaps he'll be able to take.

I do think Garrett will still be a very good player. But we all saw how quickly Watt declined from a DPOY player to just an above average player.

Anyone that has ever flown across the Pacific will tell you that travel lag is quite real, its different than flying to Europe. There likely were a number of Rams players that didn't sleep, statistically 1/4 of all passengers can't sleep on a plane.

The 49ers were clearly the better rested team and just physically punked the Rams.

 

1 game in, and halfway around the world? I'm not even gonna try to read those tea leaves.

 

I don't think they should play him max snaps they need him for the playoffs.

 

Garrett... like Watt, wasn't gonna be "All-World" forever. Not surprised Trent Williams held his own. He's another future HOF player.... so:
