It all begins Sunday for the team so let's eat some good stuff to kick it off. I'm feeling some dirty bird wings.

Wings sound good for an afternoon game. Probably head the Bengals fans barn for after game food as well.

Hopefully nab a big piece of Alaskan Salmon before the game. Rice as well. Vegetable?! Haven't decided.

Game starts here at 10 AM, scrambled eggs with fried onions, thick cut bacon with maple syrup, grilled home fries with jalapeños and screwdrivers with fresh squeezed OJ. Hopefully a new era of Steeler football, good or bad glad for the change.

Very good call. Do you have some in the freezer from an Alaskan fishing trip or something? Or do you go get some at a restaurant like Red Lobster?

Just spent two weeks having others cook for me. The thought of having to prepare my meals is depressing.

Some lady made pasta from start in front of me in Italy so I’ll have that.

Going to get it from the market near the docks.

Fisherman here in Vancouver usually bring back some very nice pieces. Just a matter of timing on my end. Waking up early is going to stink because Sunday is my off day but the early bird catches the worm.

That's pretty cool! Didn't know you were from Vancouver. I grew up around Toronto. But I did get a chance to visit Victoria for a week or so not long after my oldest was born. Beautiful place.

Jealous of the fresh fish you get there. Friends of ours from BC got my wife and I into sushi (decades ago now). I assumed I'd hate it, but I'll try just about anything once. Glad I did.

I'll probably be working this weekend...game's over the antenna though, so I can catch the game at the office.

Re: food. I'll be working, so nothing special. I'll also probably have fish...but sardines or mackerel. Probably with some kimchi and sriracha sauce.

Have a sausage roll so that may be on the menu with those dirty bird wings. With some garden maters and garden banana peppers. I got the roll up in Amish country at a meat market. They have a local guy that seasons it different ways. I think it's his hot sausage. We shall see. :smiley1::cool:
