The depth of the Steelers WR room hinges upon Roman Wilson

Top 3 wideouts are probably going to be Pittman and Metcalf outside the hash, and Bernard in the slot. If Metcalf implodes or alienates himself with childish behavior, they can play Bernard outside the hash and go with Wetjen in the slot. I think Bernard, once he has a full grasp of the playbook, will be an upgrade over Metcalf due to Metcalf's limited route tree.

Wetjen is a bit small, but he's got some suddenness to him and decent hands. But I doubt that happens as Metcalf will probably be on good behavior with Rodgers at QB. Where you need to worry about Metcalf is when he has an inexperienced QB he thinks he can scream at and act like a child with.

 

If Roman does that in a regular season game, Rodgers might say wtf are you doing like he did to Jonnu last season .

 

Every time Jonnu was sent into the game Rodgers should have turned to the sideline and shouted "WTF are you doing" to Arthur Smith.

He does like him that's why he is being hard on him..If AR didn't like him he would have been cut already.. If AR can't trust his play then he will get little to no playing time..Heck I like him to , he is just a bad fit..He is a sand lot style player trying to play in a precision Offense ..

If he can get into a Offense like Ben used to run the scramble drill routes he can be a good NFL WR if not he will not play much..So for His sake and the sake of the Team they should just move on..

 

You know damn well Roman might be taking JPJ snaps and running that route.
