Why is nobody that is quoting me messages not answering the question honestly, and giving me all this other stuff??
Now do all the 1st round Qbs that have been picked that didn't turn out good, and that will show that having a losing season guarantees nothing.

Just saying... Super Bowl winning chances are a whole helluva lot better if you draft a QB in picks 1-10 than later. Of course there are exceptions....Rodgers, for example.

    Purdy.
Like I said now do all the Qb picks that have been taken in the 1st round that haven't turned out, or that have never been to , or won a SB.
We could easily lose, and draft one of them.

Purdy is a diamond in the rough.... but he hasn't won a Super Bowl yet.

Plus, Purdy had a "real" coach, not a cheerleader, to develop him.

Sure, if that's your only measure. And in that case, Barry Switzer is just a coin flip difference between Cowher and Tomlin.

Or if the regular season is your only measure, then fine, it's a coin toss difference between Cowher and Tomlin.

For me - I prefer more relevance in the playoffs. Going a decade without being competitive in the playoffs just turned me off. Cowher's teams won playoff games with Neil O'Donnell, Mike Tomzak, Kordell Stewart, Tommy Maddox and Ben Roethlisberger.

Tomlin's teams were not even remotely competitive in the playoffs without Ben.

Stronger playoff record and doesnt just eek him out there like Tomlin does on season winning percentage while having a HOF QB for most of his tenure.

So Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Dan Marino, right?

It's the end result folks are focused on, not the season itself.
One you potentially pick next draft mid teens or higher. The other mid teens or lower. One leads to a better roster, one to a less better roster. Theoretically.

Nobody was expecting a top 10 offense with those scrub QBs .

I think DJ Moore will have a good year, Allen is going to get him the ball as WR1.

There were times when they weren't competitive in the playoffs with Ben try again, nobody cares about winning some playoff games in the 90s that crap wouldn't work in todays NFL.

That means nothing he will probably have better stats than the Steelers WR1.

And Cowher didn't win anything until he got a franchise QB.

Before Rudolph play the savior in the last 3 games, the steelers had their worst offense since the Rookie year of Terry Bradshaw...It was so bad, they fired their OC with 7 games left

They were outplayed every game, especially the first 10 games when they were outgained every game.It was one of the worst 6-4 team ever if you look at the points and yards differencial
