10 Days until Steelers vs. Falcons

It's probably Tua at QB. Steelers would really have to bungle this game to lose it at home.

 

I think McCarthy took the approach that he wanted to work on as much of the mental part of the game as possible because of the new coaching staff, new offense, new defense, a 42-year-old quarterback legend, and an owner that wants everyone to be on the same page for it to work as quickly as possible and win games.

 

Its what Im thinking also , I hope it works.

I always believed in at least a good amount of physicality in camp and through preseason, but I do understand what he's trying to do while also bringing along two young, inexperienced quarterabacks.

 

This thread reminds me of my Navy days when we'd say stuff like 6 more days and a wake up.

There aren't a whole lot of sure wins on the Steelers schedule this year. The Falcons might be the easiest one. A loss to them would be a giant kick in the teeth.

I expect our offense to struggle out of the gate. Yes AR knows MM but that AR is long gone and we have the one who can’t move. When you consider how the OL has looked so far I’m thinking a low scoring ugly game is how we win. A MT special if you will.

Sounds like they really want it to be Penix if he's close to healthy enough not to re-injure himself (apparently a huge issue for him).

Apparently Tua's been just horrible in preseason.

Bad news, St. Louis area is getting Bears vs. Carolina as I expected. If you click on this link, plug in your zip code, and click on September 13, on tv tonight will probably tell you what games you are getting, but I don't want to steal the thunder of the guy who posts the NFL TV maps on Wednesdays.
