As expected?

(apparently AZ is comfortable with what they saw from Beck in his first preseason game )

 

Carson Beck is injured... so there is that. If he wasn't, he is likely posting a higher stat line. As I stated in my 2026 Top 32, Carson Beck was the only QB who looked like a Round 1 QB; Drew Allar just missing out on my board.


Everyone else played as expected as I thought they would; doubly so Fernando. Holds onto the ball too long, possesses little pocket awareness, a porous release speed and a single speed thrower of the football. Fernando should by no means be starting at any point for the Raiders unless Kirk goes down. Even then, I don't believe he is ready for the challenge.


As for Ty Simpson?! Very much a work in progress himself though there is much more to work with regarding him. Very good at roll outs or Play Action. Needs to improve his overall Pocket Skills.

 

Allar's completion percentage if those scrub WRs didn't drop so many passes .

 

Let's give him credit for 5 drops; that's 35/54 ~ 65%
