You knew it was coming from some-one so why not me? I can be silly sometimes TOO!!!

Seriously though, if he could prove he can catch and was willing to attempt it I'd try to develop him as a TE. Lord knows we need one!!

Unfortunately, he's vehemently refused to play Tight End.

I started a topic in the Other Team section, too, since I couldn't see any way to make this Steeler related. Well done. :smiley1:

I followed Tebow since college as my daughter went to the University Of Florida during his time there. He is such an inspiring person and leader, I can not see him not playing football which he loves. I see him either changing positions to stay in the NFL going to Canada or maybe signing to play in the Arena football league.

God has a plan for Tebow. Me, I'd like to see him in the NFL because this league needs more guys like him and less guys like.......

I think pride is keeping him out and pride is something God hates. He wants to play QB only. Thing is he's an awesome football player but lousy QB.

Cajun, what you say makes a lot of sense to me and I think Tebow will come out of this somehow on the bright side of things.

Maybe because he refused to play another position besides QB. He may step back and look at things now and decide to try another position like tight end or even running back.

As referenced by TTF's 1st reply to this thread he, Tebow, refuses to play another position. Maybe that's why.

seriously he seems like a great kid and one heck of a college qb on Florida's team, but that's where it ends. the bills may take a look at him. they are in bad need of even backups I thought. not here though, and definitely not this year.

or ANY year! LOL! I like him personally, obviously, but I just don't think he has the tools needed to be a successful qb in this league.

Kind of reminds me of Kordell Stewart. like Stewart. Tebow isnt the best passer, but he can do so many other things if he has the right system. also reminds me of Stewart because Stewart was completely against becoming a full time wr.

i still remeber the year Kordell had 21 passing td's and 11 rushing. even in todays game that would be pretty special. dang Kevin Gilbride.

Yeah you would be really good as a human resources guy because you could tell someone in a nice way that they have no chance of a career. LOL.

I really thought Kordell could've been a WR too.

Well surely he knows that the Steelers are Gods team (I saw his mansion) maybe he would be willing to switch to TE for him, we could certainly use one!

Did you see Paulson's vertical the other night during the Panthers game? He might wind up as a hurdler before it's all said and done. LOL.
