Honestly who cares about Howard or Allar right now?

What we learned from NFL preseason games: Geno Smith shined, Deshaun Watson didn’t - The Athletic

    Steelers:
Presented with a prime opportunity to shake up the depth chart, quarterbacks Will Howard and Drew Allar settled only one thing: Mason Rudolph has to be Aaron Rodgers’ backup. Now in his ninth season, he has the experience and has been clearly ahead of both young quarterbacks throughout camp. Friday’s 17-0 loss to the Jets showed that the youngsters need considerable development if either is going to be the long-term answer.

This! I feel that Allar will be the starter in 2027. Hand picked by McCarthy.

They are both essentially rookies. One was a 3rd round pick and the other a 6th.

Many first round QBs have not done well in their rookie year (if forced into a starting role). I think we all need to manage our expectations for these two.

Maybe one of them will develop into a future starter, and I hope that happens. We will just have to wait and see.

    Cannot recommend this dude enough.

Easily one of the best in the business. If one wants to learn more about how the QB Position should be played, JT O'Sullivan is definitely a name I can recommend.

It's funny because he didn't amount to much in the NFL. I guess teaching it is a whole lot easier than playing it.:thumbs up:

Even if he didn't become successful in the NFL, he has found success elsewhere. In the current meta of Sports Media, one that is driven by sensationalism and narcissism, it is refreshing to see those who are willing to teach the basics, breakdown the fundamentals and explain the principles. JT is such a person; even better that he is not beholden to corporate nonsense.

For that matter, the next great level of Sports Media can only be found within the Content Creation Space. The NFL's experiment with Tom Grossi last season to start the Packers Opener in Brazil further proves my point. Legacy Media is either dying or it is dead.

I love this guy's video breakdowns. And I like the way he pronounces Drew's last name. LOL It's the way I naturally pronounce it when I see "Allar". But apparently not how Drew himself pronounces it.

You mention our o line being a mess and it really shouldnt be that way. Given that we’ve invested so much draft capital in the line. I just hope our new coaches can find the right combination and get more out of them and that our scouting in general is better moving forward.
