Steeler/Jet GDT pre-season

I think all teams have to have a #3 emergency QB on standby.

 

Sooner or later Ox, Omar Khan has to feel some heat over the drafts of the last 10 to 12 years.

 

Crazy that it's been almost a decade since TJ was drafted.

 

Something to do with the neck and shoulder. Neck injury doesn't sound good at all; doubly so given what just happened with Broderick. That said, nothing has been announced yet; Max going on IR no less. Assuming this continues, that is where I suspect Max will go.

 

Mediocre to lousy performance by Oline tonight.

 

I also love the ability to watch a condensed game every day over my lunch break during the season.

 

Hopefully this year is different but under the last regime we always seemed to draft raw talent in the 1st round instead of a sure thing.

Has our 1st round pick even played yet this preseason?

I don't think you have to, but you get to dress an extra guy if that extra guy is the QB3. So if you use a roster spot on a QB3, it would be stupid not to dress one.

Tomlin didn’t do anyone any favors by developing zero players.

Mike McCarthy will likely develop the next QB and offense but the Steelers better find stud defenders in the draft the next 2 or 3 years and have a Dick LeBeau type defensive coordinator or this **** is gonna continue to suck.
