Not really. I don't remember anyone forcing them to draft Max by gunpoint. I believe there were hundreds of other picks they could have made

You missed the point, its more about losing out on Lemon if he were to go on to be a great WR but as Hanratty pointed out, Steelers would had the 14th pick and would have drafted Vega.

I get what You are getting at, but what Im saying is what if someone that was drafted after we took Max turns out to be HOF, well we could have draft him instead so the draft order really didn't matter

    It matters

It is far from exact or certain

Kinda why I hate the direction of hiring McCarthy. We have youth to build around and guys like JPJ, Benton and Highsmith have been around long enough to provide veteran leadership. McCarthy, Rogers, TJ and Heyward is just more of the same instead of moving forward

To his credit MM brought in rising star Graham as DC. Some people are saying he's a future HC candidate. Graham's time with the Steelers likely will determine his future.

A division title is certainly within MM's expectations for this season.

OTOH, gotta hand it to Browns fans and their staying power. What an abyss they are staring into....

Basically a bet that Rodgers stays healthy IMO.

Which I think most preseason betting is like this. It's why I think the yardage totals and things you can get on re: individual stats are typically low numbers.

Lemon looks to be a diva like GP and AB. Wouldn't be surprised if Germie Bernard has a better career.

I think there will be a renewed sense of confidence the longer Tomlin is gone

    Time will tell.

I think it's more likely that the team gets worse, especially in the short term.

But I hope that you're more right than I am.

Me too! I think there is enough reality about MT coming out to let the players feel a huge weight off thier shoulders.
