    Okay Sean McDermott.

Doesn’t matter if you are choking in the AFCCG or the wild card round, after a while, it gets old and fans get impatient.

I bash Ben sometimes for his play in the playoffs in the second half of his career, I also praise him when it's warranted. Most of the time it's just to mess with Steelersfan43 ;).

    Speaking of Rattler
Looking like he might be the 3 string qb
    Behind
    Here it comes
    Zach Wilson

I definitely missed the mark on Spencer
Got to know when to hold them
Got to know when to fold them

I am most likely to be wrong again with
    Chambliss
    From Ole Miss

Zach Wilson looked great in their pre-season game. Maybe we are seeing a trend here that started with Sam Darnold. Jet's QB's thrown into the fire and failing spectacularly before reviving their career later elsewhere.

    This is a NFL problem
    Straight to the fire
They definitely have ruined a bunch of young qbs
    NFL not just more physical
    Also
    More mental

I like Chambliss a lot too and also Darian Mensah from Miami. He will have the Hurricanes in the title hunt this year.

That run last year by Ole Miss was impressive
My Gamecocks might be lucky to win 6 games this season
Lost a couple of starters for the season
    See if Sellers can improve
OL the key for our success

Again,in the Cowher era, every year outside of 2000 and 2002 was won by HOF or future HOF QB

What cost him his job was because the bills could not play defense outside of the wild card round.

Oh sure. You have and excuse for every Tomlin loss for 19 seasons, but Mike McCarthy isn't allowed to lose a game to a bad team or he's a bum. :roflmao:

Go sit down somewhere and stop with your nonsense.

ESPN is sinking like the Titanic because they suck and because they cared more about pushing an agenda than reporting sports correctly and honestly.

This is clickbait to get everyone talking about ESPN.

    F them.

The buzz saw of Mahomes in the playoffs is mostly what cost McDermott his job IMO.

Here are the QBs that McDermott lost to in the playoffs.

Hired in 2017. Lost his job this year.
    • 2017. Made the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor. Lost to the Jags with Bortles and that defense.
    • 2019. Allen's first playoff trip. Lost to Watson's Texans.
    • 2020. Lost to Mahomes in the AFCC
    • 2021. Lost to Mahomes in the division round.
    • 2022. Burrow in the division round.
    • 2023. Lost to Mahomes in the division round.
    • 2024. Lost to Mahomes in the AFCC
    • 2025. Finally no Mahomes, must be good news for the Bills, right? Lost to Nix in OT in the Division round. Over the next couple years we'll see if he (and Maye) are the real deal or flashes in the pan.
The Bills and the Ravens are great examples of how it's actually really hard to get through the gauntlet of the AFC playoffs. Those two QBs have won 3 MVP awards. And been in the top 3 in MVP voting 7 times. Zero trips to the SB.

In large part because of Mahomes (especially for the Bills). The Rats have lost to Allen (2x) more than Mahomes (1x).

It doesn't matter you wouldn't be able to win today with scrubs going against Burrow, Lamar, Mahomes and Allen in the playoffs.

The Bills were like the Steelers in the playoffs their defense couldn't get stops, but they fared better and won some playoff games because they have a good franchise QB.
