Too bad Allar didn't have that Ohio State WR group to throw to like Howard did.

Davante Adams is close to his mid-thirties another receiver would've been the right move, Simpson will likely sit for two years.

Running that soft camp hasn't limited the injuries.

If it was game day I suspect all would play

It’s camp the error on the side of caution

    Nothing significant

Generally agree, but if we reach week 18 and we’re not in a must-win situation for making the postseason or seeding, I give him the start if he has demonstrated enough readiness over the course of the season. A little live fire to help guide future decisions at the QB position.

I was not thrilled with the Drew Allar pick, but I didn't hate it. Everything coming out of training camp was about the strides he made in his mechanics. He definitely impressed me with his first preseason game. Yes, he was going against guys who may not be on the roster, but with that mindset he was also playing with guys who may not be on the roster either. He played great and he elevated the play of those around him. Both he and Howard played well. In my opinion I will give the edge to Allar. His passes were more on target than Howard's were. Some of Howard's passes seemed to be high where if the receiver wasn't able to reach or tipped the pass it would have been intercepted. I think Howard's passes seem to float more than Allar. I was not team Howard, or Allar before this game but I am leaning toward Allar at this point.

Did You notice that Fields looks the exact same under Andy Reid as under Tomlin??

Ben was the 3rd string , if a injury to Batch, and Tommy doesn't happen we maybe don't see Ben that year

And if Stafford stays healthy, and they don't make the SB because they didn't get another weapon, or one of theirs goes down then what?

I just didn’t understand the reasoning the Steelers even took Fields
    Sorta like
    The Vick pickup

    It’s mind boggling
    Yet
They are the first to criticize
    The coaching
    And management
PS does wonders for some thinking they can run an organization
    I got a PS5
    Let me run this team

    Was it Tomlin
    Or
    Higher ups
That made some of these rash decisions?
I may have been too hard on Mikey
    Stay tuned
We are about to find out

    Problem is
Everyone thinks that any qb coming out of college after 10 years
    Is a franchise qb
    Or
    Giddy giddy
    He is so athletic
    Once you hear
So athletic to describe a qb
    = not a franchise qb

I saw that he was 4 for 4 passing but I didn't see the yards. I started watching when Simpson came in. Did you see the strange stats for Kenny Pickett this weekend? 16-19 and a TD with no turnovers, that's really good but then you see the yards passing was 92. He only averaged 5 yards a completion lol.

How many guys become franchise QBs after only starting for one season in college, they have a two-year window with Stafford give me another WR to help beat that Seattle defense.

This is an even larger concern with Nacua's off-field issues.
