Who's your surprise veteran cut

Redman is safe when it comes to him vs Dwyer. Redman is a better pass blocker and better receiver. Dwyer is faster but we're talking about short yardage backs, not home run hitters.

I have two other surprise vets being cut.

Heyward- he has shown nothing. If he wasn't a 1st rd pick he'd be gone by now. We'd be okay without him, in fact I'd rather have Woods in there anyway.

Gay- The 1st TD on him wasn't his fought. Problem is he has now allowed two more TDs that are totally his fought with the last one being vs KC at the 5 yds line. To complicate matters he hasn't gotten any ints, not sure he's even credited with any passes defensed. If C. Brown or Victorian or even Hawthorne can show they can be a good nickel corner I can see Gay being cut.

I don't think we get anything if either is cut. that is for free agents.

 

how about foote and carter?

 

I'm not sure McFadden will be trusted with the defense this year so Foote is probably safe, for now.

Carter? I just added him to my growing list.

Carter- Heyward- Dwyer- Gay........ Punters don't count!!

I am afraid Curtis Brown, will be shown the door.
He just hasn't produced, time has run out on this Longhorn.
