I will give Jerry this; dude is one hell of a salesman. That isn't easy; doubly so in terms of what Jerry has done (positively) for the NFL. Biggest mark has been the ridiculous marketing deals he got done that the league ended up following him on.

Ok, I'm disagreeing. Watch his passes again. They were. Couple of receivers reaching back or out in front. I get it, we want to believe he is it but watch again.
    The difference is stark.

Not to be a Debbie downer but remember the great Preseason of ‘23, the Steelers looked like the next best thing. Then it faltered. Let this progress slowly…

With Allar, he has all the tools, with him it is all about when the real bullets fly and he needs to read defenses on the fly.

We won't know until then. But I hope this keeps up.

I would love to get rid of Mason Rudolph, maybe make a trade and get something for him?

This. If he is able to be this always, we have something there.
Im really really freaking impressed. Its only preseason, but its his 1st ever, and that arm is pretty freaking remarkable so far

Dude the difference between the way he passes , and the way Pickett passes isn't even close, but you are correct, its only preseason

I would love to see Allar(or Howard)become our next franchise QB....The steelers would not need to have a awful season to have the next franchise QB in this case!

For me Allar > Howard just based on arm strength and tighter spiral. Maybe they should just trade Rodgers this year.

So again, the key for both Howard and Allar is to see how they would both take command of the huddle and manage their emotions during the drive; particularly in Allar's case given how his Career at Penn State ended. Both have passed that test for tonight. As far as specifics?! Both have things to work on.

Will needs to add some more juice to his arm on some of those sideline passes while Drew is still very much a work in progress in terms of his fundamentals. That said, much of the positive that we did hear about both did come to light. Just about being consistent for both.

As I see it, both have done well.

Another bonus as I see it.

Being 22 and getting this level of coaching and teaching?! All up to him. He has the ability.

He needs to put it together.

Nice try dude, I started an Allar thread in the Bill Nunn draft forum wanting the Steelers to draft him.
