The lethal combination of Tomlin and Rooney

I was wrong for the games vs Vikings.I mean I did not expect Brian Flores to have a bad game....For the Lions game,nobody could predict 15 rushing yards by the lions,I mean c'mon.I also make several good prediction in the past too

 

I've only been here a short while, and maybe I am out of line for this, but I have never seen a more belligerent, ignorant, asinine, foolish, idiotic, moronic, nimrod of a member of a special interest forum than you. It appears most here feel the same way and maybe they have just become tired of telling you this but YOU ARE AN A S S H O L E!

Like I said before, maybe you are 15 years old and your parents signed you up here for your first birthday, or maybe you have mental problems, but in either case, it's nobody else's problem. Grow up or get help!

 

This is what I've tried to tell the Tomlin fan boys. But they don't listen. When the popcorn fan boys can't win an argument, they resort to personal attacks.

 

Excellent post. I used to be a staunch Tomlin suppprter then I became a Tomlin basher. The truth of it all is probably somewhere in the middle.

In the end my biggest issue with Tomlin was his ego. His unwillingness to change. His desire for power and influence over the franchise to the extent he wasn’t willing to bring in true coaching talent underneath him and allow those guys the freedom of growth within the system at least on defense for sure. His ego even influenced his singing aging veterans time and time again and thinking he could get more out of them only to be in bad contracts with inferior talent ultimately hurting the team. Finally his inability to to develop a QB. This is a QB driven league. You have to have the coaching on your team to grow and develop QB’s. Without it you can not remain relevant and competitive in this league. I do believe Tomlin was exposed later in his career when the team was devoid of coaching talent from the Cowher years and not having Ben to cover up a lot of the inefficiencies. In my book Tomlin was an above average coach who was great at motivating his players and was excellent at coaching up the team for interdivisional play but he couldn’t match the X’s and O’s Talent of a lot of the young talented coaches around the league in today’s nfl.

LoL. My friend I argue with many on here, but I like most of the people on here. We are all Steelers fans. Hell I argue with @Blast Furnace , and @jeh1856 daily, but I like the heck out of them, and would share a pint, and a pizza with them any day

LoL. A coach who averaged 10.5 wins a season couldn't match young talented HCs. LoL.
The HC that was only one of 5 HCs to make the playoffs 5 out of the last 6 years, and did it without a franchise Qb.

I totally get people not liking him, no matter how good you are, or whomever you are someone is not going to like you, but to say stuff that makes no sense is another thing.
Like last year for example:
I was told Vikings HC, Patriots HC, and Lions HC would show us how to really coach, and we beat all 3. LoL

 

But he still has not drafted a Qb that he has developed to be good. Exactly the same as Tomlin

It don't matter whether or not he drafted Rodgers... He still helped Rodgers in his development when he was young... One thing is for sure, it wasn't Mike Sherman who develop Rodgers

I hope You don't forget that McCarthy was coaching a SB champion B. Favre , and didn't go back to the SB with him.

Last time I checked, Mike McCarthy replaced Mike Sherman at HC for Packers in 2006. Rodgers entered the league in 2005 as a rookie. He was buried behind Brett Favre on the depth chart until 2008 when Favre left Packers for Jets. Who the hell developed Aaron Rodgers if Mike McCarthy didn't?

So you're telling us that Mike Sherman developed Aaron Rodgers his rookie season when he got ZERO starts?

Ben Roethlisberger had 40 starts under Whisenhunt and Cowher before Popcorn was hired in 2007.

 

Brett Favre had also a atrocious season in 2005 and you know he was not the same QB in the 1990s when he won 3 MVP in a row at one point...

And in bold,it don't matter

 

He also said the same thing about Goff and McVay despite Goff was god awful under Jeff Fisher in 2016...It make zero sense

 

Why not , aren't you the guy who tried saying McVay developed a 12 year vet that had multiple seasons of over 30 tds, and multiple seasons of over 4000 yards passing, and 5000 yards passing befor He ever met him. LoL.
If You can believe that crazy stuff I guess anything is possible. LoL

 

Question, try answering truthfully, and not moving the goal post, did McCarthy ever draft, and develop a great Qb??

Who developed Aaron Rodgers? I always thought it was Mike McCarthy since he was the head coach from 2008-2010... the first 3 years Rodgers started at QB for Packers. Winning Super Bowl XLV, to our chagrin.

 

Again answer the question of what I said, don't change what I said to fit what You want.
