After football JT Thomas and former teammate Larry Brown were early developers of the Applebee's chain and brought the franchise to Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

I was at the training camp luncheon last year with my 8 year old grandson when Ben, Joey, and Maurkice were inducted. We then got to chat with Cam for a minute, my grandson got a couple cool autographs. It was a pretty cool day for both of us.

J T used to sit near me at games and I haven’t seen him in a couple of years. I hope it’s not health related.

As I mentioned before Mark Bruener was my neighbor and Craig Wolfley would pick him up on the way to work. He drove a pos pick up truck.

First game at Heinz Field had some disorganization. When I got there they parked me in the wrong lot so we tailgated by ourselves in a lot full of nice cars. They had directed me into the players lot. When I came back the 17 year old security guard told me I wasn’t allowed in that lot. So I asked to speak to his supervisor and got the 18 year old. I pointed to my 20 year old militia wagon Tahoe amongst the new Lexus’ etc and said what player do you think that belongs to? Once I proved I had the keys they let us go. We didn’t bother any players but since we were tailgating several just stopped by for a drink or a bite.
