It would been cherry pick if I would remove the 10-3 start of 2024 and count every other games since that time but this is not the case.I count every game from the last 96 games and I remove nothing in between

 

You're full of crap doesn't want to count the 11 wins from 2020, but want to focus on the 1-5 finish that's the definition of cherry picking.

 

The thing is,the steelers are just 3 games above .500 since that time and this is 96 games...Not a small sample size anymore

You can't blame the QB if you want in the 7 game losing streak in the playoffs but the numbers on defense are just terrible....416 yards and 37 PPG in the 7 games losing streak and they spend more money(or first round pick) on this side of the ball in the league during this losing streak

When you have a franchise QB and he can't score points or sustain drives early in the game he gets the blame. The defense is going to get worn out from being on the field too much.

 

Time of possession in each playoffs game

28:30 vs 31:30 against the Pats in 2016....The pats had only 1 drive without scoring

The steelers had the edge in T.O.P against the jaguars in 2017...The offense had 42 points and 2 turnovers.You will win a lot of game with those numbers,especially at home

In 2020,the steelers had the edge by 5 minutes...The offense deserve the blame for this game but the defense still gave up 390 yards

In 2021,I gave you that...They had a great start on defense but the offense was brutal.Matt Canada was the OC,not a surprise.The chiefs had still 6 TD in 6 drives at one point

In 2023,they were not bad but they were not good too against the Bills

In 2024,the defense were on the field for 40 minutes because they could not stop the run.The offense were bad but you can't win on the road in the playoffs when you gave up almost 300 rushing yards,unless if you are lucky

In 2025,Again true offense were brutal and they were the reason why the steelers did not win but the texans had still over 400 yards despite the awful game by their QB

So yes the offense were bad in several games but the defense did not gave the steelers a good game to win outside of the last game vs Houston

 

I hate to admit it but the Eagles front office is probably on the same level as the Rams.

 

But when was the last time the offense had a lead early in a playoff game?

You still don't know all the issues of the first quarter under Mike Tomlin yet,regular season or playoffs?
