Can Watt have a bounce back season in 2026?

I’d like to say Herbig because he is the youngest and has the most pass rushing upside however it will probably require an injury to TJ or Highsmith.

If Watt stays healthy I think he leads the team.

    Watt.

I think Tomlin's lack of creativity at the end of his Steeler run really hurt the defense. (Game Planning to exploit your opponents weaknesses). I believe the Steelers were going with the same lineup and plan week to week with no consideration of the offense they were facing that week.

Voted for Watt because that's the best possible outcome to have him fully back. But I have a feeling Sawyer's gonna have a good season too.

    Agreed.

I initially wanted to vote Watt but given how desperate Highsmith is, that tilted my decision.

I'm hoping TJ will return close to top form and get 15-18 sacks, but I just don't see it happening. If Highsmith stays healthy, I think he'll lead the Steelers in sacks with 12-14.

Sawyer won’t see enough playing time to top TJ Watt. I wish they would force TJ to rush from different positions along the line. He would be a bigger pass rusher and run stopper if he did that. I think he dictates his playing position though and coaches don’t want to mess with his past success.

I'm the only one who voted for Sawyer. I think he will end up better than Herbig and Highsmith in the long run. Dude has a great motor. He'll get a lot of playing time so Watt and Highsmith can rest.

Highsmith, money is the great American incentive. Loved Watt but I believe he is on the downswing.

I picked Herbig because he's the best pure pass rusher on the team now that TJ has slowed down.

I'll take a flyer and say Ramsey. Last season with 3. Playing in the slot almost full time this season, sky's the limit :clapping:

That wouldn't be a good look for the Steelers top 3 OLBs if Ramsey is leading the team in sacks .

Agree... if that happened, Steelers would be able to draft Arch or any QB they want in '27.

Watt and Highsmith with their annual injuries makes it not out of the question. :icon neutral:

You're expecting the Steelers to blitz Ramsey from the secondary so often, and he' s going to be so successful at it that he ends up leading the team in sacks???

I agree he's not a candidate to top TJ in sacks. Or pressures either for that matter. I just think he's going to have a strong season.
