Mine is Cotchery. Seems like to much young talent at WR. Some of these guys won't make the PS.

i think if Moye and Brown have a good last preseason game than i think you are right. i cant see them chancing one of those young guys getting snatched up.

i still have my doubts as to how good this team is and i would much rather see them struggle with young talent rather than older guys.

:this!: Go with the young bloods here. They have much better up side. Nothing against Cotchery, he has contributed some, but we should not risk loosing Moyer or Brown.

    Foote.

i know its probably not going to happen, but man some of those young lb's sure are looking good. i bet ole DL is loving seeing those lbs making all those plays. that is what his defense is designed for. the dline hold their blocks and let the lbs create havoc. Baxter. Rolle, Jones, McFadden, Wilson and Garvin are all making plays. tough call, but i wouldnt mind seeing atleast 3 of those guys make the team.

I would be SHOCKED if they cut him.
I can understand y`alls reasoning, but Tomlin loves him sum veterans, and he don`t have a whole lot of `em right now...
If Plax was still healthy, Yeah, I could see Cotch goin bye bye...
    As is..
    I would be shocked.
Not sayin it`s the RIGHT decision, just what I expect them to do..
I`d be tempted to keep the younginz... but it would be a tough choice, IMHO...
    GO STEELERS!!:yeehaw:

wr's are hot commodity right now and that wouldnt be a bad idea. they could probably get a 5th round pick for him at this point. i think they would have to do it this week otherwise teams will just wait to see who gets cut. they may have already waited too long.

if Plax was still in the mix they would have an even tougher decision. then they would have both Cotch and Plax along with the young guys to pick from. Cotch isnt a game changer and i think AB and Sanders are enough of a veteran presence. i say go with AB, Sanders, Wheaton, Moye and Brown and Keep Dunn for special teams if possible. wasnt too happy seeing AB back there returning punts. if he goes down they are in real trouble.

I hate to say the Redman part of this as I hope he stays, but I think it comes down to ...
Cotchery vs (Redman, Dwyer, or Felix Jones)

Based on the number of times Cotchey was used last year total vs the preseason game aginst KC (when his job was on the line) and since Ben didn't give J.Brown any looks at all against KC, I would have to agree with that.

But, I'm also thinking Gradkowski and Landry Jones might be getting mulitple steak dinner offers this week. :lolol:

Ta'amu. I think it is a numbers game and he is gone with Fangupo and Arnfelt looking good along with Woods.

I wouldn't be shocked by this but I hope he doesn't go. I think Ta'Amu is still a project but could still be a really dominant NT.

Yes I hope he is not cut either but he definitely has an uphill battle in front of him.

For sure. Jones is obvious but then Baxter, Williams, McFadden over Rolle, Wilson and Garvin.

I like what Foote has done for the team, but I think those waiting in the wings have far more upside.

My surprise will be Gay. But it's highly unlikely it happens.

Kinda shocked I haven't heard the name Worilds. I have heard a lot of hype surrounding J. Jones and Worilds has not stepped up like we hoped.

You haven't heard his name because that'd be an incredibly dumb move by the Steelers. Despite "not stepping up" he's at worst, the 3rd best OLB on the roster and counts as only $985K against the cap.

It won't happen at this point... but I'm still a little surprised that Brett Kiesel is still on the roster.

He counts for 4.9 mil against the salary cap (7th highest on the team), and we have Heyward and have seen some solid depth behind him in Woods and Arnfelt (that's probably spelled wrong).
