Just curious. Why is the US team in a black jersey today?

Blue and red not available for an away jersey?

Also, I don't see a single person in the stands wearing a black jersey??? Most seem to be wearing the usa home white jersey.

I seen probably every game so far.
    USA played maybe the worst.

I gave up early. Easy to tell Belgium was better.

I didn’t see that happening, USA looked out of it.

After today only 8 teams left.

Just a guess but I say Argentina smokes Egypt and Colombia beats the Swiss.

At this point I'm rooting for Norway but doubt they win it all. France or Spain is my guess.

You can look at the WC for USA in two ways IMO:

    1. They had a good run and showed improvement over previous USA teams. They beat who they were supposed to beat. Woo hoo!

    2. They were given a banana slide run with an easy group, the least amount of travel and played at home. They beat a Bosnia team that in past WCs would not have made it out of the group stages with only 16 teams advancing instead of 32 and then got belt to a$$ in the first game they played a respectable team.

I lean towards the latter because they want to be a competing nation in the world, but they just aren't there yet so I'm not big on moral victories.

Side note: USA needs a guy, they want it to be Pulisic so bad, but he is just not him. He is Charmin soft and was a complete no show the entirety of the WC.

France is my pick...Spain and Argentina are good TEAMs too, but I think the star quality of Dembele, Mbappe and Olise will prove too much.

I mean they lost to Belgium 5-2 recently...sure it was a friendly, but USA almost never wins against Euro teams not name Bosnia. They are just not that good.

All the beautiful stadiums they have played in, and they choose Atlanta?

As I've stated I only watch Soccer every 4 years. Once in a while (very rare) I'll watch the Premier League. Love the passion among the fans. If I had a stake in a team I'd follow it like I do Pittsburgh's 3 Pro sport teams.

A QUESTION: (I watch games with no sound) I assume these players are all citizens of the country they are playing for. I know they don't just play every four years so is it possible that players opposing each other right now are teammates on the Premier League teams?? Or any other Futbol Leagues out there I have no idea about.

    Thanks!!

Good stuff. Tied entering second half.

Really thought Colombia would score easy since Swiss has all those holes:) Sorry couldn't resist.

Thought Columbia had a easy goal but he shanked it. I know about that thanks to Golf.

Most the Soccer world must hate it in North America because of time zone. I love the majors in Golf but hate the time of The Open (British).
