love zucchini. mom always made one that i still make and eat. just cube it, slice it and fry in a little olive oil until really tender and beat up some eggs and add grated parm and romano cheese to it. i could probably eat that 6 days a week during harvest time. really easy. :smiley1::cool:

    Some people eat Brussels Sprouts

To each his own I prefer beef and pork to water and soy protein

    Spices do make a difference

I've never been big on hotdogs. I will eat them if Im somewhere someone has made them to eat, but I don't think I've ever bought any for myself, on my own.

Not much meat on a squirrel. I stopped hunting them as a kid because I'd have to eat two whole families of them to not be hungry.

Thats a fox squirrel, they're bigger than your common city squirrel. Enough for a good sized snack. Easy enough to catch,

I'm sorry to say but I believe we've encountered irreconcilable differences - you like Disco and hate hot dogs. It'll never work out. :sorry:

Got a new electric smoker for father's day so I've been trying it out. Did some baby back ribs (3-2-1) and they came out great. Did some conecuh and some brats that came out good. Brisket this past weekend - just the flat for about 7 hours. It was perfect! These electric smokers make life easy!

I love smoked meat but Mrs jeh does not and making a whole brisket for myself is a bit much

We visit my brother in law who has a Traeger smoker and he makes some damn fine meat wings turkey brisket

    I envy you

I’m in Munich waiting for my wife to be ready to head down to breakfast. Last night what was cooking was a crispy pork knuckle at a local restaurant. Damn it was good. Here’s what they look like roasting on the rotisserie (not my photo - mine wasn’t as good a pic)

my son has a pellet smoker and i told him to try a chuck roast instead of brisket one time. he used a rub called black and tan. OMG every bit as good as a brisket without the brisket price. tender juicy and what a flavor. he ran out of black and tan and couldn't find it so he's done the last three with different rubs. all came out extremely good. not quite as good as the first one because of the rub taste. still very good though. couldn't tell a difference from brisket. cook just like a brisket.
