Maybe with a few less interceptions the Steelers would've won it's not like he was facing the 1985 Bears defense .

Really, funny that it shows their Qb has 4 ints. Wonder how that's possible, and I just looked it up , it shows 4 turnovers, or are You going to lie to make a point like other posters now?

Some people somehow think winning a playoff game is more important than making a SB.
Josh Allen has won a playoff game 5 years straight. I would bet you all the money I have that he would trade that for just one SB appearance.
It's like the meat heads telling you McVay had a better 1st 9 years than Tomlin.
Tomlin, and McVay have reached the exact same amount of SB, and won the exact same amount of SB in their 1st 9 years.
Although Tomlin had less overall losses in that time. Yet somehow one is supposed to be way better than the other. LoL

Exactly. They have been since their inception. I believe it was Cowher who lost to them as the 1st team to ever lose to a expansion team in the playoffs. $hit Happens.

    They won that game....

Here the 3 games vs seahawks last season for the rams

They won that game that Darnold had 4 interceptions

    https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/202511160ram.htm

They lost a crazy game later in Seattle when the seahawks had 3 turnovers(2 INT by Darnold and 1 fumble by Kupp) but the rams special teams was a dumpster fire in that game

    https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/202512180sea.htm

    And the playoffs game

    https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/202601250sea.htm

Rams and Seahawks were the 2 best teams in the NFL last season and it was 3 very close games

Not true,at least not in the playoffs. The Jaguars make the playoffs in their second season in 1996 and they had 2 massive upset...against the Bills as 10 points underdog and the Broncos as 12.5 points underdog. It was the worst loss in the career for Elway according to him.It was also the only home loss by the broncos in the final 3 season of Elway

Tom Coughlin was such a great coach in the playoffs!

You are correct. I was wrong.
Still they got 3 turnovers, and still lost.

    Sorry I got it confused.
Bill Cowher was the 1st HC to lose to a brand new Expansion team.
I was wrong. See how easy that is, instead of lying like some, or breaking your neck like others just to stop from saying your wrong.

Ben had 5 TD,2 turnovers and 470 passing yards against the number 1 defense but it was not enough

Cowher defense show up very often in january and he was able to win some playoffs games when his QB had a bad game

Garbage time stats Ben didn't do anything until they were down 28-0, the same with the playoff loss to Jacksonville they were down 21-0 Steelers turnovers contributed to it.

The game against the Jaguars, the steelers were down by only 7 points,28-21 after 3 quarter...Only the last drive was in garbage time because of a stupid onside kick with over 2 minutes left and down by 7 points.

Still the slow starts and the early turnovers make it tough to overcome those big deficits.

Of course...The first quarter was a problem for almost the entire Tomlin era.The steelers did not score over 7 points since week 2 of 2022
