if we were any good we wouldnt be in a position ot lose in OT on some BS call... we suck.. as i said get ready for a lot of 16-13 type games... 6-10 here we come

It's bad that I always get a bad feeling on 3rd and 15 or longer. The 3rd and long D and the special teams just can't seem to get better.

We are who we thought we were. Same stupid penalties, same special teams debacles, no turnovers, no pressure from our starting D. The only consistency we show is that we are consistently mediocre.

 

not FALLING .. it already FELL... after we get back from london we will be begging for an 8-8 season

wow, another example of that stupid f-in rule in the Rams/Broncos game on the 2 point conversion.

 

We had a TO tonight. Troy recovered a fumble.

I forgot about that ,good call. I guess I was distracted from all the other great plays we made.

 

Hines HOF , you hiy it on the head. STEELDEAL as well. Just wish they would detonate this and get on with the remodel.

 

Jarvis played lights out tonight. Wheaton made a great td catch. EZ and AB were both running free. Dwyer had some positive runs. Cortez was tackling and covering like a beast. Shamarko will hit anything that moves. Haley opened up the playbook a little for Ben. I'm not too bothered by this performance tonight.

I think you will be pleased with the starters performance tonight. Honestly the refs gave this one away. Troy was all over it tonight but he, along with the rest of the crowd, got burned bad on a fake handoff. Other than that we looked a LOT better.

 

I don't know. I'm not going to get into a tit for tat with anyone. All I'm going to say is I know what good football looks like and no one can tell me they are thrilled at what they are seeing out there. If all your looking for is for this team to be competitive and average than I guess you can be satisfied but if you are looking for and expect more from the Pittsburgh Steelers you have to be concerned. They are making the same mistakes over and over again and that can't be a good sign. We have always been regarded as one of the best franchises and teams in the league and right now we are not performing like one. I really hope there's a switch to flip when the games start to count. I've been waiting a few years now for them to unleash hell.

man, that Tomlin quote... talk about going out on a limb but then falling off of it

 

You know we are constantly dogging on Tomlin for not showing any passion but then the one time he does we never let him live it down. So maybe he learned from that mistake to use the Belichik philosophy which says "when you win say little and when you lose say less". Who knows though? Maybe I'm wrong.

 

sorry if that's a little "harsh" on Tomlin, but saying something as bold as "we're going to unleash Hell in December" and then having the team play as unmotivated as they did really doesn't do much to convince the naysayers that what he's doing is helping the team move in the right direction.
