Not my fight, but clearly we were competitive and favored to win in playoffs under Cowher. He did man the ship with losses that shouldn't have happpened, to be sure.

We haven't been competitive under Tomlin for 5+ playoff games and not very competitive the several before that. So while similar in outcome, the general vibe was COMPLETELY different.

Tomlin had been a running NFL joke for nearly a decade. No other team wanted to see him fired or quit.

I believe he meant that teams wanted the Steelers to keep Tomlin because he would allow the franchise to continue to stagnate.

He must all the teams outside of the 10 that we beat every year.
Does anyone think that L. Jackson wasn't happy with him gone??

LJ is gonna have enough problems without Harbaugh. I don't think he gives 2 sh!ts about Tomlin.

We'll see. I know if I had as much problems against one team as he has had with the Steelers, I'd want their HC gone.

Steelers naturally play LJ better than most teams. Bengals and Browns have also had success vs LJ. It's a division thing. LJ whips the hell out of NFC teams because they aren't used to playing him.

Steelers have a good record vs LJ. It's a fact. But LJ has also won playoff games. Steelers haven't in almost a decade. Steelers are getting into Jets territory with playoff win drought streak.

Amazingly he hasn't won enough to make the SB.
LoL. Maybe if he gets his ....I won a playoff game card punched a little more in a few years he can trade that in for a SB appearance. LoL.
Now back to the topic that you moved. Lamar Jackson worst passing completion against a team , worst win loss against a team , worst td to turnovers against a team all are to the Steelers .

Funny enough the NFL Network was playing that game today and I came across it with 10 minutes left and Jags up 28-21, totally in that game at that point and Jags have the ball and 1st and 2nd down go no where, 3rd and 8 and they give up an easy pitch and catch for 9 yards and first down. Couple plays later, bomb to the 5 yard line followed by a Fournette TD up the middle for an easy score. I got mad all over again.

Their struggles with 3rd downs has been dogging this team for so long. I’m really hoping having a new mind driving the defense fixes a lot of the problems they have had over the years.

Moving the ball on offense wasnt the problem, the defense having no answers for the Jags killed them. Hopefully with a new regime comes success. We’ll see if all the talk about attention to detail amounts to anything.

Moving the ball wasn't a problem, but the early turnovers were killers. Also, it wasn't like the offense was consistent in that game. What they had were some insane individual efforts to make spectacular plays. If I remember correctly, at least two of their touchdowns came on fourth-down plays because theyw ere desperately scrambling to come back in the game.

True but it was also against a elite pass defense,so of course they were going to have their moment too

Still worried about the middle of the D.... ILB and DT/NT. Steelers didn't do much to shore up talent in those areas.

Should be worried in general. Until Graham proves he's got 'it', that talent or lack of it won't matter.

So you believe that our biggest rival the Ravens aren't glad Tomlin is gone??
You know that team that's everyone likes to pick to make the SB, that team that's looks it's worst facing us, that team who's 2 time regular season MVP Qb looks pedestrian against us overall. You actually don't think they are glad to see him gone?? LoL. Yeah right.
How about HC McVay who has never beaten this team, or HC Mike Vrabel who has never beaten this team??

Tomlin was such a genius that the Ravens' rookie kicker missed the game-winning kick in the final week; otherwise, the Ravens would have eliminated the Steelers for the second year in a row.

    Tomlin special

It was the biggest game for the steelers against the ravens after the 2024 playoffs game in the Lamar era....Jackson has been fine against us since 2023

Ravens care as much about Tomlin being gone... as Steelers care about Harbaugh being gone. Neither team gives 2 big sh!ts.

LoL. He's been fine. LoL. I like how You always pick, and chose years, and never the whole thing. Lamar Jackson has lost more games to the Steelers, and had more sacks against the Steelers, and had less tds against the Steelers, and has more turnovers against the Steelers, but that one time when the wind blew out of the south, and the rain was coming from the west .....LoL

I said since 2023(remember the 2023 game when his receivers forget how to catch the ball,it was a fluke game similar to the game vs pats in 2025 for the steelers,I guess it was a Tomlin special again)...I agree he had struggle vs steelers before that but he was solid that time. Don't let a missed field goal fool you

Exactly what I said, as usual you move the goal post. I said LJ , and the Ravens have worst against the Steelers , and because it was correct what I said, you had to cherry pick . I already said this. LoL
