Please add the Denver Broncos to the top of the trade list. Boy, Denver would love to have a player like Alex Highsmith to their roster.

Jonathon Cooper was arrested last week for Domestic Violence and Strangulation against his girlfriend, and was then arrested again this weekend for violating the restraining order adding 4 more charges. He is currently facing 5 - 16 years in prison and is now not allowed to leave the state.

I would assume the NFL will void his guaranteed money and allow the Walton Family to release Cooper and walk away clean.
Jonathon Cooper signed a 4 year, $60,000,000 contract with the Denver Broncos, including $6,000,000 signing bonus, $32,096,000 guaranteed.

Broncos' Jonathon Cooper arrested again on four charges, including harassment, violation of protection order

They are saying the Steelers are shopping Alex for a 2nd round pick, but maybe the Steelers could get more from Denver, so the Walton Family can put this behind them.

Now, as for the Denver Broncos, there is a reason why Von Miller has never been invited back. So, even though the fans want Von Miller back, the Walton Family will not put up with that kind of off field behavior from its players. Alex Highsmith seems like the perfect fit in Denver.

After what we got for Claypool, I`m feeling greedy for what we can get for Highsmith.

However, not so sure it would be smart to deal him.

All for trading Highsmith. It would align with Watts demise and getting off the books with, hopefully, Herbig being the guy on a then reasonably good deal and then a second riser, such as Sawyer or a not yet drafted OLB/DE on a rookie deal.

I know currently the cap doesn't matter than much with the Steelers with no high paid QBs after this year is over, BUT re-aligning offense and defense cap balance makes sense and if they pay JPJ soon, it will be beyond imbalanced if keeping Watt (can't move him), Highsmith, Herbig and JPJ. Also rumblings of extending Benton.

The risk? The obvious injury to Watt or Herbig and suddenly we're below average on the edges...definitely a concern and a good reason to only trade Highsmith if the deal is too good to pass up.

The Walton family needs to be worried about their home town Razorbacks, and not the Denver horses.
