What are Reasonable Expectations for Mike McCarthy in year one with the Steelers?

I did want Cowher fired after the 2003 season. This is well documented. Something happened in 2004 that changed my mind. Gee... wonder what that was?

The difference here is I wanted Cowher gone for approximately 1 years time... and after this he coached Steelers back to 2 AFC Championships and a Super Bowl victory and I changed my mind. I wanted Tomlin gone after the home playoff loss to Jags in 2017 season....and I had to suffer through 7 seasons with no playoff wins or conference championship appearances. Basically wasting my late 40's and early 50's years of Steelers fandom.
