I'm okay with assembled food like meal kits or takeout, but I'm not okay with bad ingredients. As long as there fresh.

He didn’t deny being removed for a while. That’s all I need to know. The Planet Steelers refugee posters some of which now call this web site home can confirm this.

    We take fresh for granted

I have a friend/scientist who lived near the South Pole where they don’t get fresh food delivered for many months

She talked about how they were onboard the cargo plane gobbling down fresh strawberries before the crew could even unload them

I did admit that was never suspended on this site. You just can’t read… or admit when wrong. Remember James Pierre?

I was definitely suspended on PS twice. Once for defending Tomlin against the site owner who hated him.

Second time for calling someone a liar.. all while providing the evidence of the post where they lied.

all this lying on the Lords day.. WWJD man, WWJD.

Mr. Teller of Tales, I said Perre (James Pierre) was a solid reserve corner for years — and he was. He started 13 games for us and notched 22 pass deflections.

    https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PierJa01.htm

You have a track record of misquoting me and making things up. I asked you before to show exactly where I said what you’re claiming, and you gave me nothing. Hmmm… Now exactly what did I say about James Pierre? I never suggested that he will become is a #1 CB. All I ask is that you quote me correctly.

Nice of you to admit the truth. I didn’t know you were banned twice on Planet Steelers. IMO, you have some issues.

During his time here he has misquoted me quite a few times, so even though I wasn't in on your discussion, I can see this happening.
He has a habit of not reading what is written, and ....hell I don't know , he comes up with stuff that was never said. Like He's reading something totally different than what is actually written. Hell You can look throughout this thread for example.

One or two misquotes from me? I'm fine with that — it happens. But he has misquoted me more that twice and several other posters as well. He claims he's only been banned from the Planet Steelers board twice. Does anyone know if there have been more bans on the other sites? Lying is another isssue. He may have a reading issue. Overall, it seems like he's a troubled individual. That said, I am willing to forgive him if he comes clean and admits he has some things to work on this time. After all, he is a Steelers fan. Since he’s likely reading this, I’ll offer him a handshake on that.

There is probably a minimum arm strength to have to play in the NFL. What that is and how you measure it, dunno.

Howard’s arm looked weaker than Rudolph’s in last year’s camp and Rudolph has at best anaverage arm by NFL standards. This year Howard is showing a little more zip on his throws, but no matter how you slice it, he still appears to have a weak arm for an NFL starting quarterback. He needs to prove to McCarthy that he can consistently deliver on 8-10 yard outs, comeback routes, and hit the deep post with real velocity — getting the ball up and down quickly so the DB has very little time to react.

According to reports, the average starting NFL QB throws around 55 mph. Good starters are usually in the 55–58 mph range at the Combine, while elite arms are 60+ mph. Can Howard reach that level, or is he even average? We’ll find out during camp.

The Steelers are in a good spot. AR is the clear starter with better weapons around him than last year. Let Howard and Allar battle it out for the #2 spot and split the majority of the reps (75%+) with the first-team offense. Depending on how close they are to Rudolph by the second week of camp, I’d trade Rudolph while his value is still solid. It’s Mike’s call — and he’s one of the top 5 coaches in the league when it comes to evaluating quarterbacks. We need to see them in full pads, not just shorts and shirts. That extra 15–20 lbs of gear takes a little off everyone’s arm, and some guys (especially smaller QBs) don’t carry pads as well. Only then can we truly judge arm strength.Camp can’t start soon enough.

Alllar seem to have improved his footwork a little already in my judgement. Once he develops a better lower base on is throws and learns the playbook ... I think he will surprise some people. Allar has more untappeed upside than Howard. And he is much younger with more room for physical devoplemet.

oh.. so you don’t remember trying to convince a whole board that Pierre started on the outside in 2020?

and when people showed you he never started you refused to admit it?

I have a pretty good memory Joel

“Huh, an opinion is not a fact. A fact is Pierre passed both Layne and Sutton who has never ascended past 4th on the depth chart when healthy. See the difference? A fact is the coaches started Pierre, not Sutton.”

How are you seeing footwork improvement from Allar? Are you attending OTAs or relying on a couple of clips from MSM?

FWIW, I was on that other board for a long time.

I have had issues with both Joel and Felt. But just normal internet stuff. I'd have a drink with both of them.

Hopefully, they can avoid the Dawson's Creek style bull**** we would have over there sometimes.

    Wow Felt....

Did you have that link saved somewhere?

The search function on that site was pretty bad even when the site was running.

The site is up and the search function actually works better now.

It kept crapping out anytime I signed in but someone said you have to create a whole new account.

No one is on there but the link to old threads still works.

I’m done though.. I just don’t like when people claim they didn’t say something or that I’m lying on their name. For what?

and here is Joels assessment of Allar in 2024. Mind you, he wasn’t even eligible for the draft in 2025 but

“3 ) Drew Allar. This 19 year old is the best QB prospect his age I have ever seen! The 6'5" 245 pound kid has a A+ arm. The ball comes out of his hand like a rocket. A good passer, he has not thrown an interception in a game or in practice. He is a tad overweight and is still growing into his body. Obviously he has a lot to learn. Likely to stay in school another year, but if he goes pro in 2024, he is worth a top 15 pick right now. If you have to sit him for a year, so what! He is a rare prospect that is worth the wait. Projected draft pick , Round one.”

and when he was told Allar wasn’t eligible for the draft that year his response was..

“The title of the thread is: Top 10 draft eligible QB's. No where does it say when they will be drafted or what year. That is not guaranteed.”

Not trying to be petty. Just showing you that Joel lies and makes mistakes and when they are pointed out, rarely does he admit the mistake. He triples down on it.

Maybe he didn’t know what eligible meant? lol.

full thread for anyone who thinks I would misquote.

okay.. I’m done proving I’m not the liar or one who misquotes. Thanks Joel for letting me know that site was back up so I could get the evidence I needed to show your words and refusal to admit a mistake or two.. or three.

Mostly clickbait on the internet but I did see that his footwork and mechanics the first week while they worked on him was horrible

By the last week much improved

Not surprising Allar has a lot to work on with his footwork, especially when taking the snap under center. Penn State had its QBs almost exclusively in shotgun and pistol formations, even in short yardage situations which drove me crazy.

Watching all clips on the web, not just MSM. Like 10 minutes of Steeler clips per day. He is a little faster, showing movement with less thinking, and is getting his footwork down. Showing a little more since his first practice as Steeler.

    I am not in attendance.

Every Manning has stayed in college through their senior year so it wouldn’t be surprising if he doesnt enter the draft in 27.

I hope he doesnt, that would keep him in play for the Steelers while they see what they have in Howard and Allar.

I agree, but I believe if You have made it that far , and into the NFL, arm strength is probably not going to be your biggest problem if You don't make it further. JMO

I think it will depend on how his season goes.
I think both P, and E. Manning played 3 full years as starters, I could be wrong, so this year would be A. Mannings only 2nd year as the full-time starter, so you could be correct. We shall see.
