Seen a movie called...Tarot last night. It was ok. It looked good, but it was pretty much exactly how You thought it would go, no surprises.

My wife and I watched "Over Your Dead Body" with Jason Segel and Samara Weaving last night.

That was a fun, dark comedy romp which turned out to be a LOT more violent than I expected.

It just recently came out. It might even still be in theaters. We rented it off Amazon. (Still cheaper than going to the movies)

I watched Hokum tonight, and it reminded me of 1408. A nice backstory for the protagonist and a better ending than 1408; I just wished he would have asked for a scoop of ice cream. :)

    1) I still don't understand how he got the Room Keys in his hand. (Ghost, or did he just Swipe them)
    2) I had no idea what he was doing with the clock. Smart idea, but I never would have thought of it.

Me and my son went to see the He-Man movie a few days ago. It was pretty fun, actually. And definitely better than the 80s He-Man movie.

Are we talking Masters of the Universe? If so I watched them film the 80's version in my home town at the time in So Cal. It was pretty cool watching them do it with the giant hovercraft traveling down our main biz street and blowing up several of the local buildings. We used to be able to see tons of movies filmed in So Cal back before the CA government got so greedy with taxes and fees and chased them all away to New Mexico, Georgia and Canada. Where I am now in the Eastern Sierras, they filmed virtually every western made in the 30's through the 60's here in Bishop and a bit south in the Alabama Hills of Lone Pine. There's a great Western Film Museum in Lone Pine where they have tons of artifacts from these movies and others such as Tremors, High Sierra, Star Wars and Iron Man.

Just got back from Disclosure Day.

It would be easy to say, "meh" after watching it, b/c you generally have an expectation going into a Spielberg movie. And this is not going to be the next Raiders of the Lost Ark, or E.T., but it was entertaining. Not as big of a production as I hoped for and expected going in, but it felt like Spielberg. Just wish there was a little more to it.
