Your point is always the Steelers should've made the deal you wanted them to make, even though in reality most of them had no chance in hell of happening .

 

My point is they should have made those moves because they would have improved the team in the short and long term, and if the team had wanted them, they could have had them.

This is not madden.....Nothing can make us believe that Darnold would been interresed to come in Pittsburgh in a Arthur Smith offense and with players like Pickens who was in the roster at that time was often unhappy in the first 3 years

Exactly. Not many teams were out there just battling to get Darnold on their team. Hell the Vikings let him walk apparently thinking it was their system, and not him that made the difference. I'm not saying that some people didn't want him here , but most of this is hindsight . Let's not forget Darnolds 25 tds overall, 14 ints, and 11 fumbles were not some unbelievable thing that everyone would die to have on their team. In todays day, and age it's not that good, but because their team was awesome, it worked.
I mean Rodgers had 25 overall tds, 7 ints, 4 fumbles, but people want him out of the league
