WTF?! I hate that call! He catches ball takes the required steps...goes to ground and ball moves, but does not touch ground and it's incomplete?

 

My pic quality is bad but how is it not a catch if the ball never hits the ground and you regain control before it does?

 

Dont know if its new or old but rules say you have to maintain control throughout the catch.

 

I think they called TO to try and challenge it.

 

rule is you have to maintain control throughout the entirety of the catch, including coming to the ground. Once it popped out, even though he didnt drop it, he was out of bounds, which makes it incomplete

 

I liked the rule much better when it was one knee = two feet not this new rule the last few years about having to maintain control throughout the whole play.

so you can jump out of bounds, but if you swipe the ball over the pylon it's a TD.

That catch should be a TD.

He regained control out of bounds. Also it's good to see a kick getting blocked. I was missing our crappy ST play.

That's what I was thinking. He is a ball hawk big time. That's his 2nd fumble recovery and he has also caused one too.
