If Khan is going to make anymore moves, someone like Roberts would be a good pickup at ILB, he played under Graham last year. Wagner is another name that has been thrown around here. Im not familiar with Bobby Okerekee but his numbers look good and 29 years old. Wonder why he hasnt been signed by anyone.

At WR, JuJu got mentioned, we talked about him in another thread. I dont see them adding anymore WR’s.

Will Dissly at TE would be a good addition to round out that room.

Is this a good place to ask about QB Brendan Sorsby and the July Sup Draft? Is his Future Ceiling better than Will or Drew?

If the Steelers used a 3rd or 4th round pick on Sorsby, would they then be out of the 2027 QB draft class.

Prediction: Sorsby to the cluster-F that is the Browns QB Room. :)

Agree, I still think we are short 1 Tight End that can both Block and Catch. With Pat or Darnell you have to pick your poison.

After the Draft I was really hoping the Steelers were going to snipe David Njoku from the Browns.

David Njoku: Signed a 1 year deal worth $3 million plus incentives with the Los Angeles Chargers after spending nine seasons with the Browns.

Sorsby is a talented quarterback prospect, but he was caught making online sports bets, including betting on his own team when he was a freshman at Indiana, before he transferred to Cincinnati. He has undergone treatment for a gambling addiction. He transferred again, to Texas Tech, but the NCAA ruled him ineligible due to his gambling. Also, Cincinnati is suing him for violating his NIL deal by transferring to Texas Tech.

He is talented, but a bit of a mess.

He did have an online betting problem, and it was thousands of bets on everything. They did point out that he never bet on a game he played in; so there is no "point shaving" scandal here.

And it is Texas Tech who is currently suing the NCAA to get Sorsby ruled eligible for the 2026 season. Tech paid him $5 million to play for them this year. Judgement coming in June, so if he is denied entry back into the NCAA he will be declaring for the July Draft.

    AI
The NCAA Investigation & IneligibilityThe Wagers: Sorsby placed thousands of bets on professional sports (e.g., MLB, UFC, Turkish basketball) and bets ranging from \(\$5\) to \(\$50\) on Indiana to win when he was a true freshman redshirting in 2022. None of these were for games he played in.

NCAA Rules: Under amended NCAA guidelines established in 2023, athletes who wager on their own games or other sports at their own schools face permanent loss of eligibility.

NCAA Denial: After Sorsby completed a 35-day residential treatment program for gambling addiction, the NCAA officially denied his request for reinstatement for the upcoming season.

Acquiring Sorsby would be even dumber than having kept Pickens or giving Harris the 5th

He is good but only at the developmental level imo. Entering the 2026 College Football Season, I have a Third Round Grade on him.

His biggest issues stem from what a lot of QBs in College have an issue with; handling pressure. His overall completion percentage was at 42.2% when dealing with pressure. If not pressured, it is at 61.7%. Now, nearly having 62% does sound good.... until you realize that the NFL is far more unforgiving. There is a reason so many shave off 10% from the collegiate figure of accuracy for the NFL is simply a different beast all together. Most notable though is the tight window throws in the NFL. This is where I have my biggest question with Sorsby.

He has the arm strength to make these throws but his lack of consistency in decision making, reading coverages and throwing with anticipation give me pause. Again, he has shown he is capable... just not to the level that would warrant a first round selection.
