Tomlin must have been the smartest DC in the league being able to call plays without a play card. Either that, or the typical play card was three lines long.

I think part of this was also that the NFL now auto-reviews all the important stuff.

So challenges that are initiated by coaches are mostly just timeouts after bad plays.

Yep they are an investment at the expense of other students who end up with 10’s of thousands of dollars in student loan debts. At the same time the illiterate students rack up those expenses, they also enjoy their doubly priced door dash and Starbucks lattes while not thinking twice about paying for it. Colleges are a total ponzy scheme.
