Lamar will have to prove it in the playoffs at some point otherwise he was just a freak athlete playing the QB position that had regular season success.

I would like to challenge this. The Previous regime with Ben was Matt Canada and Randy Fichtner!

The Previous coaching was Matt Canada and NOBODY got better under Matt Canada.

Lamar Jackson was drafted the same year as Ben's buddy Randy Fichtner was promoted to OC. I don't see Randy being able to develop anybody.

Ben was already developed by 2007 by Whisenhunt and Cowher. Tomlin didn't have to do squat except let Arians take control. :smiley1:

You keep ignoring Steelers playoff futility. You do you. I'll continue to b!tch and whine about no playoff wins since 2016 season.... and worst playoff victory drought since the 1960's.

No what I do is realize that You can win a playoff game , or two for 50 straight years, and that will not add up to a SB.
Without crying about it this is a absolute fact.
You win enough games to make the playoffs, there are no in between, and if You don't at least do this, nothing later beyond this matters. Then you win enough playoff games to make the SB, no in between. Ask Yourself this honestly. The Bills have won at least a playoff game 5 years straight ,do You actually think they would rather have our 3 SB appearances in 2000s, or their 5 straight years with at least a playoff win ??

What did Harbaugh do he's not an offensive coach, stop talking out of your ass . Cowher did as much as Tomlin did in developing the QBs .

Bro. The Steelers haven’t won a playoff game in a decade. No matter how long winded your rants are it doesn’t change that fact. It’s Pathetic no matter how you slice it. I’m just as much a fan as you are.

With that being said maybe a new coach and staff will change things?

I think that StatMuse is just considering a game his rookie year or whatever where he got on the field for a play and logged no QB stats a win... Like the Packers won that game and he was on the field in that game, even though he didn't start at QB. Idk. That's the only thing I can think of.

We had a four time MVP as a QB last year and didn't win anything... I get he's past his prime, but that doesn't make the statement false.

Yes, they have a short shelf life. Part of why he only has three wins has to do with missing multiple post seasons with injury (or his team missed because he was out with extensive injuries). That's what you risk with a QB taking off and running.

Hard to tell. Maybe he will, maybe he won't. I'd prefer he didn't because F the Ravens lol but even if he doesn't have sustained post season success, its hard to argue that he wasn't/isn't a great player.

I don't know. Maybe? Maybe instead of going after a college OC in Canada he goes after a different one. I have no idea. We certainly would've hired people different than who we had... who, though? Its all speculation.

At least Rodgers got his team to the playoffs, and he swept the younger Lamar .

I dont think I would call having Lamar Jackson as our QB low standards or not wanting to win.

I'll ask the same thing. The Bills have won a playoff game 5 straight years, do you think they would rather have that, or the Steelers 3 SB appearance in the 2000s, and then later not winning a playoff game in 8 years???

Wait what?? So some of our coaches, and player suck because they did win something, but it hasn't been for a while, but somehow winning something doesn't matter if it's not our coaches, and players, do I understand that correctly???
