It's even funnier when you misread the post you mock as you just did. You thought I was talking about what opposing defenses do. I wrote about teams adjusting based on which side is their quarterback's blind side, as in how the offense adjusts its protections. Some defenses may adjust, too, but that isn't what I was talking about.

You don't think teams consider protecting the quarterback's blind side in their protection schemes. Man, you're cracking me up.

Posted a smaller clip of this in a different thread, he goes into more detail here about Rodgers. Starts at about the 20 second mark.

So like You and Your buddy they should just give up now?? LoL.
Now go back, and look at those dates you seem to think are important, and tell me, would they have happened if they just gave up between those times? Well we aren't elite in HeinzMustard eyes so we should give up now. LoL
Was Seattle elite in 2024, NE?? Good thing they didn't think like you. No you thought Buffalo was elite, Rams were elite, Ravens were elite, 49ers were elite, or teams like that, you know those teams that didn't make the SB last year.

Where did I say Steelers should give up? I was just pointing out that CURRENTLY and for the past 8 years... Steelers have been mediocre. This is a fact, truth, reality, etc. Newsflash: Starting Howard or Allar at QB is not giving up.

You keep putting words in my mouth that do not and have not ever existed.

Hey what did Your elite teams do last year. Did they win a SB, did they even make a SB???
Yes starting a 3rd round, or 6th round rookie Qb , and not even having a backup with NFL experience is giving up.

Was starting Ben Roethlisberger vs. Dolphins on the road in Miami, September of 2004 giving up?

Ah Geez!!! Are You just trying to argue?? We had no choice till a point. Cowher not only wasn't going to start a 3rd, or 6th round pick rookie Qb, he wasn't even going to start a 1st round rookie Qb, even after a 6- 10 season. He not only had one veteran backup, but 2 in case.

Actually He went 15-1. I have the football that they sold on Stan's show back in that time on Pittsburgh sports.
You are correct it worked out, but it wasn't by design, it was by divine intervention. LoL.
So if Rodgers , and Mason gets hurt, and Allar, or Howard come in, and do the same I will be very happy.

I guess he decided he wants the extra attention of the farewell tour, but I wouldn't put it past him to change his mind after the season is over.

I doubt any team will be interested in having him as their starter in 2027.

This will be the first time in five years the Steelers will have the same starting QB on opening day in consecutive years.

It might be nice to have him as a mentor for whoever we draft in 2027, and 2028, and …..

None of that changes the fact that Troy is experienced on the left side.

I would say that rift was greatly exaggerated.

Rodgers even suggested to Khan to hire McCarthy. Phew, what a blood feud.

I never disputed that. I have even written that he could move to guard if necessary. His potential versatility is something I heard and read about when they drafted him.

I am, however, pointing out that it does matter that when he did play left tackle, it wasn't his quarterback's blind side because Penix is a lefty. I'm glad we can agree that has some effect, though perhaps you think it is less of an issue than I do.

As I stated all along, my bigger concern is putting him out there protecting a quarterback's blind side given how bad he looked against some elite pass rushers last year. The losses to the Chargers and Texans come to mind. He is likely to see more guys like that at left tackle.
