Probably my favorite Ewan Dobson tune - “Odd Man Out.” While I’m not a fan of all his work, his creativity and skill as a player are astonishing- even to the lick at the end.

 

Yes my friend You do. Playing is something we can, and must do until we can't. I suggest getting them out. I will be honest with you. If it wasn't for music, and Playing, I would have lost my mind by now. Also I think it keeps us agile in mind, and spirt. I'm far from a youngster,, and yet not quite a old man .

Learned because my uncle who taught me a lot about music even though he's a drummer( lol )loves this tune.

 

The first video I saw on mtv was reo speed wagon. Cant remember the name, but they used clips from an old black and white western.

I'm not a huge fan of them. I don't think they suck, but I'm not a fan of high vocals all the time. To me it would be like playing the guitar only past the 12 fret only.

Here is a cool little song that a lot of guitarists play wrong, or have played wrong, including myself. If You learned it by ear like myself years ago. Many of us played it wrong because we were playing the bass parts, and not what the actual guitar was doing. I didn't notice it till a fellow friend, and guitarists later pointed it out to me.

Great album, but the best song on there is Ladies Night in Buffalo. I think I posted it several pages back, but that has always been my favorite from this album.

 

I think both of the first two DLR albums with Vai are awesome. I seen them with Poison opening up back in the day. LoL

 

I saw them with Cinderella opening. Both band's first album tour. Very fun concert.
