I was hoping for Malik Muhammed CB or Genesis Smith S instead of Wetjen

 

And yet one knucklehead wanted McCarthy to take days off from doing this to go to some kids pro day

 

I was thinking of a different conversation when I posted this. The Falcons took Branch which left Wetjen as the best option at returner. I still remember the talking heads saying after the pick that another team was going to select Wetjen if he fell another few picks. So, I got it wrong in that post. Either way though, the Steelers picked the guy they wanted when they needed to is still the point of it.

 

I don't think Louis is going to be a linebacker in the NFL. I think he's going to end up at safety.

 

So some unnamed talking heads said some team was going to take him soon at some point and that is supposed to be valid evidence that the Steelers needed to take a kick returner in the fourth round. Have I got that right?
