The Lemon phone call fiasco is the only thing they we can say factually is a screw up. Period. The rest all needs to play out between the lines on Sundays.

    Draft Profile: Bio
A consensus four-star recruit out of Broken Arrow High School, Robert Spears-Jennings was rated among the top 12 safeties nationally by ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports in the 2022 class. He played both ways as a senior, catching 36 passes for 626 yards and eight touchdowns while recording 56 tackles and four interceptions on defense. He chose Oklahoma over Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Texas Tech.

Spears-Jennings saw limited early action, appearing in nine games as a true freshman in 2022 with 15 tackles. His role grew in 2023 when he played 12 games with two starts and recorded 38 tackles, finishing with 24 stops over his final five appearances. The 2024 season was a clear breakout: starting 11 games, he ranked second on the team with 66 tackles, added 5.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, four forced fumbles that tied for eighth nationally, and an interception.

As a senior in 2025, Spears-Jennings started 12 of 13 games and posted 59 tackles, one interception, two pass breakups, and a forced fumble. His best effort came against Ole Miss with 11 tackles and a forced fumble, and he returned a pick 37 yards at Tennessee. He finished his Oklahoma career with 178 tackles, five forced fumbles, and two interceptions across 1,503 defensive snaps.

The words I was reading about Rubio were "violent" "extremely strong" "huge hands". That was from the NFL Draft Network. The big knock on him is his lack of quickness. But if you want a space eater who will plug the middle of the line he is your guy. I expect he will be used as a short yardage and goal line run stuffer.

It’s fine not to like a player or the strategy, I’m just saying its too early to say they made a mistake. Way too early.

I think Dunker is better, and it’s not the mullet! I think he’ll end up being one of their better picks. I know he’ll have to move but that shouldn't be a problem for him.

That's exactly what they just said about him on the NFL Network, Spears-Jennings will be used as a gunner on special teams.

That is funny, the first thing I thought was... Where the hell is he at?

Why is he there dressed up and ready to make the walk in the 7th round??

I disagree. Of course, it is all speculation now, but some mistakes are fairly easy to see.
