I hope so. He definitely has a big time arm. He can make throws that most simply can’t.

Probably, but I have a hunch that Aaron is not going to sign. He broke his wrist last year. He proved a point that he wasn’t as bad as Jets system made him out to be. NFL is full of qb’s who stayed too long. Aaron doesn’t have anything left to prove.

Im not a fan of that song and cringe every time it’s used, so maybe this kills the use.

A pick or two early for Allar but OK. Big Mikes adding some comp to that room and that’s the right thing to do til u find “him”

    Build the trenches!

I don't think they'd pick a backup QB this early, but they still have two picks this round.

Well, they drafted Allar three rounds higher than Howard. So it stands to reason that they think more highly of Allar. Hopefully one of those guys can develop into a good starting QB for us. It would certainly save them a lot of bother if they hit on one of those guys.

Yes, he can make every throw. Without a doubt. He just doesn't have any idea when to make them.

I like that they are going for high ceiling players. Take shots on players that have the physical ability to be great. The last thing I wanted was a quarterback that stayed in college for six seasons with no outstanding physical traits.

He has a huge arm and is able to throw from multiple arm angles and make big-time throws.

The arm talent is there. He can make any throw on the field.

He is big and strong, while still being athletic enough to move around and run with the ball.

He takes care of the football and keeps turnovers to a minimum.

He played most of his career with very little wide receiver talent at Penn State.

The offensive system he played in at Penn State was simplistic and pathetic.

He was forced to learn and play in multiple offenses due to changes at offensive coordinator.

He hasn't been exposed to a sophisticated offense, and really needs to learn a lot about the game because the coaching staff in State College did not do a good job developing Allar.

His footwork is terrible. He really needs to work on that, but it is correctable.

Allar is a bit of a project, but the physical gifts are all there.

Can he handle the mental aspects of football as he learns a new offense and works on his mechanics?
