I literally can't beleive we jsut picked Allar. We have a national champion QB on the roster and yet we pick clip board holder who has hurt is knee and we need other help in multiple areas, WTF is this pick for??????????

I guess Khan should of called and consulted you before making the pick?

I don't think there's any question that if Rodgers signs, Rudolph wouldn't make the roster barring something unforeseen happening. They would have Rodgers and two young guns trying to absorb as much as they can and working on their craft to hopefully be the future.

Terrible pick. I hated him at PSU. The guy lacks processing, omysginles and chokes in big moments and big games.

I wonder if they'll try to put Howard on the PS.

Maybe MM will be different, but I think it will be hard for the Steelers to be one snap away from a QB who's never played a snap in the NFL against starters.

Don't love that or hate it. They can roll with the OL and WR groups they have now but I'm not against adding one more of each. You could still use another TE, S, ILB and IDL. They have three more picks in rounds 3/4. I would not have taken Allar there.

Evidently they think Allar has more potential than Howard.

If McCarthy can't develop either Howard or Allar, then don't call yourself a QB developer.

I'm not sure that is true. Maybe they are giving themselves two shots at developing a quarterback.

We have a lot more picks coming to make up for the Allar pick, but the thing is we kind had to do it and Allar was the best QB to pick of the group, probably will be Will Howard's back up. I wouldnt be against keeping Mason and having 4 QBs

Franklin did him no favors, he wasn't an RPO QB, and he never had an elite receiver, just tight ends. Penn State was receiver deficient in talent.

Drew is more a play-action, deep ball, scramble guy. The worst part about his game was not being clutch with untimely interceptions. If anyone can get something out of him, it will be McCarthy.

I think they'll roll with 4 QB's through camp in case there's an injury, then look to trade Mason.

No way they're going to try to put Allar on the PS.

General reaction though was one of shock and disbelief.

As I said, I am ecstatic.
