Admittedly, I haven't read through the 6 pages of this thread, but I'm becoming more and more bearish on Khan's drafting abilities. Especially in the 1st round. Since Khan has been on the steelers payroll, our 1st round picks have been reaches on players who would have been available on day 2. Pickett, Bro Jo, Fautanu, Harmon, and now Maxwell I. Some people have really hyped up Khan's roster building capabilities, but I just don't see it.

Can't blame on him for Pickett since it was still Colbert our GM,but yeah he is still horrible....3 tackles in the first round in 4 years for Khan. What a joke.Similar when Matt Millen draft 4 WRs in 5 years with Detroit in the 2000s

True. But I'm still partially hanging the KP draft buffoonery on Khan because he was there and involved and had already been named the GM once Colbert left post draft. That situation is a whole other topic of discussion about head scratching decisions made by Rooney. How in the ever living hell do you allow a guy who is leaving your organization to make decisions on their way out the door that will have an impact for potentially the next 5+ years? Just another poor leadership decision made by Rooney that could be a college business course case study on poor leadership decision making.

Colbert was still in the job, so he should have been still doing the job, shouldn't he? Should he have done nothing but collect a paycheck his final year with us?

First, I hope Lemon has epic career high games against the Cowboys. Jerry should be roasted over this. Similar to when the Bengals shipped Flacco to the Browns.

Second, I’m all for building the trenches but you can’t keep using your first round pick on tackles.

I hope Max does well, but him limited experience was at RT. So do we move him or Troy to LT?

Lastly, I agree Omar is in over his head. I would have been more upset if he had actually gotten diva Lemon.

The job is way too big for Khan....I have less and less trust in him. The sooner he's gone, the better it will be for the Steelers.

I have no problem spending several 1st rd picks on building the trenches.

When the line is mauling the other team and deciding games up front, ya’ll love it too.

Unfortunately Jones didnt work out and that set building the line back with having to pick Max. Keep in mind that was going to be a WR. I think they lucked out though, had they got Lemon, they’d be relying on Cook to man LT. Maybe that works maybe it doesnt but now they got a guy who will be a stud. Dont care what anyone says about that, Max is going to be a good one.
