Man oh man is this guy impressing me. Kudos to to those who have been pumping him up all summer (mac, Snack, others...)

At 6'4 300lbs, he is definitely playing an Aaron Smith type game. Great quickness and brute strength. I even saw him hold his ground against some double teams Monday night. I think its doubtful he makes the 53, but can we stash this guy on the PS? I hope so. Definitely looks like a diamond in the rough.

in the giants game on the al woods sack, he had 3 blockers tied up on him and was in position to make the sack if woods didn't. (3) I saw it on the re-play of that play and had to keep going back to make sure that's what I saw.

several times he's got two blockers tied up on him and he's driving them away from the LB'ers. just like they draw it up. what makes me like him best is similar to aaron smith, the kid can disengage from those blocks and make tackles. that's what smith did so well. he is a keeper and if woods can play NT too, we just may find room to stash him. note: he ran a 4.81 40 at his size. 38 reps. and looks like hoke. LOL I love the kid. i'd take two more like him.

I actually think both he and N. Williams need to be on the PS. There is a ton of potential there. With Hood, Woods, and Keisel all being UFAs keeping them would makes sense.

I wouldn't be surprise if both N. Williams, Arnfelt, Woods pass up our two number one picks in Heyward and Hood.

I believe a self promoting pat on the back is in order here as he was my official selection as a long-shot to make the 53..
:innocent: but seriously, the kid is not only strong and quick, he was productive in college as well. He'll get gobbled up if we try to stash him on the PS IMO..

Arnfelt seems to be playing well, BUT its against 2nd stringers. Woods had a good first game, but the Skins game was nothing special. IMO, I want to see them against 1st teamers before I make any judgements.

I think he has potential...if that turns into something then awesome! Playing good against 3rd, 4th, etc strings is one thing...compared to playing against 1sts (maybe even 2nds). I think he (and possibly Williams) are worth putting on the PS. With the possibility of being called up due to injury OR making the team next season (I have a gut feeling this year could be it for Keisel and the rest coming back).

He did. It wasn't a Holiday Inn Express, though. There's your problem.

I'd love it if one of the reporters would ask Tomlin if that question has been asked.

yea he was quiet but our OLB's were definitely in the backfield and that's mostly because of him doing what he supposed to be doing.
