The Official 2026 NFL Draft Thread (No Spoilers)

Max was my second wish behind Vega but I figured he was a no-go because no visit.

Long, athletic as hell, and strong. The guys at Bootleg are loving the pick.

 

A year ago I dreamt we took our franchise QB tonight…so much for that

 

Coloring books and playdoh.

 

We could have had our Kyle Hamilton but we went with someone who never saw a football until 4 years ago.

 

That's my big question since Max played on the right in school

Ioane was the sure thing. He was the guy to just pick and forget about the position for about 12 years.

I understand them not trading up that high to get him, but I would have loved that pick.

Now we have to hope this kid's developmental improvement continues to track quickly upward.

 

So he’s another big strong project tackle? Wasn’t Broderick that guy too?

Not me . I actually was cool with a Tackle, but not a project Tackle in the 1st. I have to say everytime I say this . I pray I'm wrong

 

I'm guessing Concepcion isn't as good as I thought he is since the Browns took him.

 

This is just one pick. This year's quarterback class isn't very strong. That's why last season, I really wanted the team to try to draft Jaxson Dart or Tyler Shough.

There are more picks to go, and a quarterback will likely be one of those picks. They may find a diamond in the rough. You never know.

 

It did seem to be extremely quite there when the pick was anounced.


I would bet money that 50% of the fans there have no idea who Max Iheanachor is.

 

Maybe we can draft an OT 5 or 10 years in a row, re-invent a new draft strategy. Yeah I know Broderick was rough, but man, how many 1st round Tackles do we need? And only the 6th tackle in 21 picks. I do hope it works out but kinda boring pick while watching some of our projections go to rivals. Ugh.

 

So you stop drafting Tackles cause one didn't work out? Guess we're screwed at QB. lol

 

Mark it down....... we will get another 2nd rd pick with a trade of either Patrick Queen or Alex Highsmith


And one of those 2nd rounders will be used on either Chase Bisontis or Emmanuel Pregnon

I’d have much rather had Freeling than whatever the F his name is. Just a stupid pick. Could have gotten an absolute beast at either WR or S…a safety who could help transform our defense. Or a great cover corner….McCoy is still available. No, they take a developmental tackle who has 4 years playing football. Hell, I had more years playing football than that, before I even had hair on my balls. Just stupid as hell.
