I agree. Kaboly often goes out of his way to be contrarian and criticize fans.

 

Last year Rodgers said he had not had contact with teams all the way through the McAfee show appearance and right before TC. Obviously his agent had been. Last year I really wanted him to sign. This year I honestly don't care. I would rather have ARod back though than go with just Howard and Rudolph.

 

Between Howard and Rudolph, I expect Howard to win it, but I find it odd he has been anointed already?

Hard to understand. I don't doubt it. I guess someone will now tell me that it was never said that Tomlin was the whole reason Rodgers was here in the 1st place. So if Tomlin is not here anymore then who do they blame. Do you understand now??

The only thing I actually saw of Rodgers last offseason he was on a stage with a crowd asking questions. They were almost all asking about where he would be playing and he kept saying he had had no contact with any teams. One guy even asked if he would consider playing for the Bears. He said he would consider it but he didn't think the organization or the fans would welcome him.

 

1st. Did , or didn't people on here say Roger was only here because of Tomlin?? Are you saying nobody said this?? So if he's here again this year who's fault is it now??
2nd. Hmm alternate reality, is Mason still in the NFL today as of April 22 2026 if so what reality are You living in?? Almost counts in what?? I almost was a rock star, I almost played for THC, I almost.......
He is still in the league, 5 years after you said he wouldn't be. That's the real reality of the situation.

When Rodgers went to the Jet’s he had commitments and could not attend the voluntary OTA’s etc. both sides were ok with that. None the less the media and the fans blew it out of control blaming Rodgers for not being there.

Rodgers said he had family issues he needed to deal with before coming to the Steelers in June last year so rather than signing a contract and having it blown up both sides agreed to just wait. And it was ok. But the Steelers did make him an offer and naturally the media and fans claimed he was jerking the team around.

I called this last year and even nailed the day he would sign.

This year I “suspect” Rodgers does not want to attend a bunch of voluntary stuff that he does not need to be at and the Steelers are ok with that. And so that media and fans can’t claim AR is jerking the team around the Steelers just haven’t officially made him an offer. And naturally the media and fans are blowing it out of proportion.

He will be here in June when the real team work starts.

What's he going to do next season coax Ben out of retirement? Call up Rivers? Maybe Flacco for a sweep of the North?

Hopefully this Will Howard fantasy comes true, but I believe they will draft a QB in the 3rd round and don't be surprised if its Allar.

everybody is acting like he can't move and was a broken down old QB. he had a good year, even with a broken arm. not every thing has to do with 10 years from now. this year is the focus and should be for now. two years from now if we have two more lombardi's who cares? we will deal with that then. no QB will be a guarantee.

 

I can guarantee he won't be here 2 year from now as the Qb
