I think you've missed a couple players. Johnson the corner and McNeill-Warren the safety are top 30 prospects as well. I think the "trade up" options are Lemon, Ioane, or Fano. They might have to go up a few spots to get any of these players. Boston feels like a guy that his first landing spot is Pittsburgh and at worst he's gone early second. If Boston goes ahead of us, better players like Lemon, Cooper, or Concepcion become available to us at 21. Johnson is a similar feel, though a run on corners early could change the math there. McNeill-Warren is another late first or early second guy that we could like at 21 or in a trade back scenario.

I don't consider Johnson or Warren to be top 15 players that the Steelers would have to trade up for.

I believe the Safety McNeill-Warren is their fallback position if they can't move up and need to pick someone at #21. CB Johnson will also probably still be on the board when the Steelers select at 21.

I just get a feeling that the Steelers think way more of WR Denzel Boston than I do. (Skipped the 40 at the combine, said he would run at his Pro Day, and then later skipped his Pro Day 40 as well)

Didn't really need to waste an in-person on Cooper or Tyson. We have Cooper's 2024 coach on our staff along with Cignetti's father, so they'll know him inside and out, while Tyson's receiver coach was Hines Ward, so we'll have the inside scoop on him.

Maybe, he seems as much of a fallback option as the others... but you could be right and they like him more than others...

Johnson should be on the board, but you never know if all the guys ahead of him get scooped up top 10-15 picks... then maybe someone takes him late teens.

McNeill-Warren feels like he should be available too. Him and Boston are rated outside the top 21 in my opinion. Johnson closer to 21 and the other 3 guys in the top 20.

I think if the Steelers were in interested in Tyson, they would have brought him in for a Pre-Draft visit, like they did with Carson Beck, so their Doctors could get a good look at his injuries.

That stuff doesn't replace an in person visit I would want to talk to Tyson about his injuries, not hear from his position coach.
