Richardson has asked tobe traded. Should the Steelers offer a 7th round pick for him?

    No.

I would think that we are more interested in developing Howard and whoever we draft instead. His best shot is to get picked up by a team that has a mobile QB that he can back up.

Packers lost Malik Willis to Dolphins. Richardson could go there.

    Nope.

Too injury prone, too inconsistent and still too inexperienced.

He could help a team playing a Connor Heyward type role. TE, FB, HB but heck no to him wanting to play QB.

For a late rounder? Sure. He is a project anyway, but super athletic. We have a ton of picks in late rounds and those are essentially worthless value wise.

The Colts picked up his 5th year option last year, so his 2027 Salary of $22.4 million is fully guaranteed.

This is not the "kick-the-tires" on the guy with a Prove-It type Contract. How much do you want to pay for a backup QB?

As for me, I am still not guying the Daniel Jones hype. I think it was smart of the Colts to only give Jones a 2 year contract. Right now they have both Jones and Richardson signed to the end of 2027.

Yes, and to this QB he should whisper "please leave or we'll have to have you escorted out."

Hasn't he already proven to be a bust?

He was never good at Florida, I still don't get the hype around him...at all. He was quite mediocre (for all those "skills") in college. Shook my head when he was drafted in round 1. Really? Sub-par production (for a draft prospect) and went round 1 based on...athletic traits?

Sounds good on papaer, but an athletic QB that can't play the postiion is just taking up a valuable roster spot. Thats why you don't do it, even if its just pick 260 or something.
