Ben had two great commercials on ESPN back in the day. Great Pick Cowher, and the one when he is fireman carrying people out during a fire alarm practice.

This, and I've always said that it should be brought up. I know for a fact as best friends with a Saints fan Brees played a few years when they only played two games outside all year, and that was in Carolina, and Tampa Bay. That stuff matters.

I hate that saying, especially when people then try saying a MVP is a individual award, and that's not true either. Example 1: Burrow who had more overall TDs, and yards than any Qb , and didn't get a MVP vote because his team sucked. If it was a actual individual award He would still get it.
Example 2: Lamar Jackson won a MVP when other Qbs had as many or more overall tds, and overall yards, but Lamar Jackson won because his TEAM had a better record. I repeat TEAM. People can't have it both ways.

My most expensive guitar is a 7-string. You don't like 7-strings. :icon e ugeek:

Ok. Your most expensive 6 string vs my 2nd most expensive guitar. I had to change from the 1st most expensive, because my actual most expensive guitar was my late Grandfather's, and I wouldn't get rid of that .

    wrong because

1.It would been 3rd down and goal without that catch
2.Holmes could have a TD catch on the first down before that play
3.If they don't have a TD on the 3rd down, the game would been 23-23 unless Jeff Reed had a massive choke job and miss a 25 yards field goal

For that game, the biggest problem for the offense was their running game was awful like they were the entire season(26 runs for 58 rushings yards against the cards)....same for the o-line when the cards had a safety in the fourth quarter because of that and the o-line had several sacks and penalties too

He was great but he had also way more pass attempts that every other QBs that year and he had over 150 more pass attempts that Allen and Lamar in 2024.The number of yards and TD will always be higher when you have more pass attempts

It take both to have a chance for the MVP(individual and team success) and this is the case also in the NHL and NBA

I have a 6-string Alvarez, too. Great bang-for-the-buck acoustics. I've played on Taylors and Martins... and Alvarez is just as good, IMO.

Of course it was, his Defense always gave up leads. What was he supposed to do.....well I better not try scoring again because it will look like I'm trying to pass too much. LoL. Stop.

I never played a Taylor, but I had a Martin, and I still wish I did. I got it from a guy that worked at their factory where I used to live back in the day, but I traded it, for a fender twin reverb Amp. Now I don't have either. LoL

    Gotta understand @HeinzMustard@HeinzMustard.

There are reasons why people like me and you see top 10 all time lists without the likes of Big Ben versus the aforementioned I have brought up during this thread. Sustained excellence is no accident. QBs need to have the careers to prove it.

Big Ben had periods of excellence. Peyton Mannings career was nothing but excellent. Massive difference.

    I mean...

You did just say Jeff Reed could have shanked that kick at the 25 Yard Line. The Super Bowl has been long known for all sorts of wacky events. Him missing that definitley would have been up there.

Regardless, given how you have used that hypothetical, that only further proves the point; Holmes had to make that catch. If he does not?! Pittsburgh likely loses in OT.

The ball was at the 7 yards line, not 25 so it would been a very short 25 yards FG.

And Ben deserve major credit for that drive too, like the first play of this drive and the crazy pump fake at the 44 yards seconds of this video

If it would been in overtime, the game would very likely been decided by the coin toss

Likely loses in OT? Come on, man. That just doesn't hold water.

If Ben is penalized when he gets some help from his teammates, it must be the same for all other QBs.Not other QB can win alone, not even Brady
