I wondered why I didn't see one every day at start of season. My pilfered password will save the day. It's great, I check score on phone and if it's still a game in later innings I tune in.

 

Pirates sure like the "LOB" stat Penguins could have lent them a few runs seeing how they are up 8-2 headed to 3rd period.

Lot of empty seats this Easter Sunday. From the looks of it the weather is not the best in the Burgh.

 

Early but Bucs are hammering the ball. Up 6-0 after 2. Going for the sweep!!

Cruz is a true butcher in CF but is leading the league in home runs. I don’t think he will get better defensively, he is late 20s and this is who he is. The solution could be to DH him and put Mangum in CF. Use his bat but bench his glove. Or maybe shift him further to the left on the defensive spectrum, which they already have done once by moving him from SS to CF. Cruz as a third baseman? Sounds nuts but worth a try, as they don’t have one. Third basemen handle fewer chances per game than SS or CF, so he would have fewer chances to f up.
In the end, he may be an eternal baseball enigma, a cypher. He may just be a very gifted athlete who has no position on a baseball field.

Nice to see them dump Ozuna from the DH role yesterday. They put Reynolds there and Mangum in LF.
