LoL. All Qbs will have pass pressure, no matter what OL they have, Wrs they have, TEs they have, Rbs they have, or HCs they have. Show me one Qb that went a whole year, hell a whole game without any pass pressure.

Every year I get older, I have less desire to have someone hurl a refrigerator at me with great force and violence.

So I think I can understand where these guys are coming from.

Some miserable SOB keeps moving the ground farther away on me.

When I figure out who....I will chase after them at a brisk hobble.

I’m not intending to pass any aspersions here but I’m thinking you may be the only person on this board who at any age would of had a desire for this

And she was even hotter when she sang the song in German instead of the English version.

Tom Brady vs. the Steelers .. I forgot what year that was, but they went 5 Wide and quick pass after quick pass and the most sweat Brady had was in warm ups..

the steelers were good at sticking to their game plan of going with a four man rush (whats a blitz?) and giving the receivers a 5 yard cushion

Most likely. But the best random analogy I could come up with for getting run over by a DE from the blindside.

One of those games the defensive strategy was to put our smallest CB one on one with Gronk

Does Ben just want us to lose to continue preserving his legacy? Ugh on Dobbs. He'd be another ok backup. Otherwise, no thanks.

I would tend to believe that part of Ben wants us to do well, and a part want us to do well, but not because of the Qb.

A sack or pressure here and there is one thing, a QB running for his life every down is a completely separate issue. Even the mighty Mahomes couldn't overcome the pass rush against the Bucs in the Super Bowl.
I really believe Rodgers could still be productive but he absolutely can't be looking over his shoulder every time he drops back. Solidifying the line on both sides of the ball is the first place to start, regardless of who your QB is.

The Point is He is afraid to get hit now, and no matter if You had the best OL in the history of the NFL, he is still going to get hit.

All we can do right now is read between the lines.

They are in touch regularly. Why? Common sense would say there's mutual interest in returning.
There are currently only two QBs on the roster.
Despite the name Cousins coming up in speculation a few times, there's been no news on the Steelers contacting even one FA QB.
The Steelers have met or scheduled meetings with 3 draftable QBs: Beck, Cole Payton, Taylen Green. Showing no interest in a 2026 potential starter.
We can expect 4 QBs coming to camp and it would be very strange to bring Mason, Howard, and two draftees.

The Steelers will bring in a vet. They are having regular conversations with AR and no solid contingency plan - hoping Kirk Cousins is still unsigned is not a plan.

I believe that there is an understanding in place. Both sides know where the other stands and are not sitting and waiting for a response. There is no recruiting going on. If there is something that must pass before the agreement is signed, I believe they all know what it is. I also believed all along, and still believe that is what happened last season. Last season I thought that they wanted to wait until after the schedule was announced to make sure that the Jets game was not prime time.

Other posters have said the same hogwash

Exactly what are you basing it on

And should he just stand there and take a sack
