I’m not saying anything negative about anyone here but Gronk was not only an excellent athlete but he was also smart

Well smart relative to football players where a score of 20 is considered good

Dude, IDK...its hard to win a Superbowl. It is hard to put it all together at once.

Look at the Killer B's era, but we had a crappy defense to go with it. How many more should we have won?

Just saying. Here everyone blamed it on Tomlin. Well if it was Tomlin here, then it was McCarthy there.

His dumb act was just that. A lot like Bradshaw.

We can say that about many, many, many TE.
I've been watching since the 70s , and I've never seen a TE as complete as Gronk.

if i were to compare washington to a previous steeler TE i would say...eric green back in the day. big for TE and athletic for the period. but washington is bigger and possibly more athletic.

i would love to see him used as eric green was back in the day.

He also went 12-5 for 3 straight seasons in Dallas and went 1-3 (0-2 at home) in the playoffs after those 3 seasons. The only postseason win in that stretch was over an 8-9 Tampa team. He’s our coach now, so I’m pulling for him to figure it out, but I’m not super optimistic.

Since before the draft his name has been attached to Gronk far too often.

I was just giving a closer more realistic comparison. Being compared to Vance isnt an insult.

That's debatable. There are a bunch of complete TEs. Tony Gonzales, Kellen Winslow, Antonio Gates, are just a few, all complete players.

George Kittle is as complete as it gets in today's game.

True. Kittle would put up monster numbers if he was featured like Gronk was.

Right. He's right there with him in catches and yards but not touchdowns. Gronk was a matchup nightmare in the red zone.

Funny, I thought an Increase in Muth playing would mean less Jonnu Smith time, not Washington.
